My Problem with AI and Analytics

I hate how strong algorithms are like on KZbin. For example, liking a funny short leads slowly to a pipeline of horny baiting content and transforms the shorts on my feed and it gets annoying so I have to try and like or subscribe to other stuff to suggest to the algorithm I'm not interested and it'll usually fix it. I feel like I shouldn't have to do all that. It should be showing things related to what I subscribed to.

I really don't understand why things are being designed to cater so much to each individuals interests and lifestyle. I think humanity has never been that way and never needed to and now online can get pretty suffocating because of how quickly the algorithm calculates what send to you. I try to clear my history just to try and avoid this.
