Having exactly the same problem! Tried to solve by tilting my head so it’s directly over the pouch band line to see how the deviation was happening but no consistent evidence to show where I was going wrong. Tried various anchor points corresponding with bones in thumb lodged against indentations in skull to aid ease of repetition. Still no luck. Never gave much thought about your technique but very impressed with your results. Very many thanks for your advice 👍👍👍

Also, consider the suggestion of Jack Koehler (from one of his two books): if you shoot right, open up your stance (move the left leg counter-clockwise, along with the right leg); if you shoot left, do the opposite, and close your stance (move the left foot and right foot clockwise). But the video and your solution are awesome.

@@buskingkarma2503 You are right. I bought pinch pouches with magnets a few days ago but haven't tried them yet. But I will do it soon. Also without magnet. I think that you can shoot much more constant and accurate with them.

excellent video! i just started shooting and i've been struggling with high right off shots. as a right hand pouch hold. far as i could tell everything i was doing was spot on, except of course the pouch hold. so i started to try to adjust my pouch holding and my shots were being wildly affected. this confirmed that this was the biggest factor on my accuracy, so i started searching for solutions. they were very hard to come by! however, i have concluded that my pinch grip between my thumb and pointer finger knuckle was creating a speedbump effect, pushing the shots high - and same result as yours pushing my shots right. trying to work on a pinch grip, pinching just the pouch on the edges of the steel shot produced SIGNIFICANTLY improved accuracy, but very very uncomfortable to hold. painful even (until i get used to it) but now seeing this video im going to try this technique! thank you for the detailed break down

Ok, so I know this is an old video, and you’ve probably sorted this all out, but for new people like me……. So I was having the exact same results with my aim. When I saw this, I jumped up and started to experiment. What I found during this is that it wasn’t my grip, but my hold. You mentioned that your hold on the slingshot was about 90deg, amd so was mine. But I angled the forks just a touch towards the target and I got it! My theory is that my hold point is a little farther in than my eye, so just like of your hold point is too high or too low it’ll affect the height, so will it being too far in our out. I don’t know why no one mentions this, but I went from hot or miss, to hitting like crazy. I also do find that holding closer to my knuckle, rather than mid finger helps too. Good grip, and none of that angular issue you mentioned. Thanks for sharing your problems, and solution efforts.

One thing i noticed is you are bending the thumb, try to keep it straight . You can also try holding the pouch thumb down , you avoid the speed bump effect to a large degree that way. Another tip is to shoot light bands and work your way up to heavier

The release is ok but the steel ball bearings are to light for the band set that's why the impact into the right of aim. You have a problem with anchor point creating vertical grouping. At least you are consistent with windage. My impact is like yours, about 70mm lateral from the edge of my fork. I fixed it by putting a rubber sight on my slingshot. I hope this helps.

I have just discovered your channel after changing my anchor point and I have had the same issues you have - I've only just solved them for myself. I'd like to share what I discovered incase it could help someone. My shots always went to the right - no matter what i did. I shoot the Goblet Evo Field Pro from Catty Shack which is designed to shoot at an angle with a straight wrist, however I just can't shoot accurately doing that. I discovered if my shots go to the right it is because the forks are angled away from me towards the target. If my shots go left it is because the forks are angled towards me away from the target. If I do everything else correctly, adjusting the slingshot angle to my target is the only thing that fixed it for me - hopefully it could help someone else too

Tolles Video, dein Kanal gefällt mir wirklich sehr!
@fletscher62573 жыл бұрын
@KnaxGaming3 жыл бұрын
