Thank you for your words about the repetitive and mundane moments. As a stay at home, it's been a challenge to enjoy those moments. The world would sometimes tell us being a stay at home is not as rewarding or... That we are not being useful with our time. But I have realized that these years God has given to me that I can spend with my son is actually very short and will probably be the most rewarding years in my life. This video was an invitation to me to enjoy the mundane and ordinary. I am a 4 on the enneagram, so mundane is so hard to embrace. I would rather be out enjoying nature, fun with friends etc. Anything but ordinary. But as you say, most of our lives, or at least a good part of it, is doing the ordinary and necessary things ... like attending to home, garden etc. Thank you for the gentle invitation to enjoy the mundane. That's my aim, at least, for this week.

Anh, you have no idea how badly I needed this word/ video this morning. I've been reading the Bible every day, 15 chapters a day since June 20th (currently in Psalms 96) and to be honest... the task and my relationship with God grow stale again. I struggled all night trying to get back to sleep after only sleeping two hours, which caused an all-night, frustrating depressive episode/ relapse. I just got back from an eye exam and spent $30 round trip on Lyft because I was in no mood to deal with people in my mental and emotional state. Mundane things, especially when severely depressed, seem like painful, time-consuming, waste of energy and time to me. With your realization that Jesus is in the everyday, running the race with me, with a water bottle and finally being able to find good out of the everyday things... it gave a moment to finally cry out to God in the midst of this dry, post-honeymoon phase in my relationship with Jesus and myself 😭 Thank you for everything that you do for His glory, and I can't wait for your wedding/ wedding series 💗🙏🏼
