Built my own desk last year too, solid redwood top, threaded stainless steal pipes as legs. Easy to remove them for storage later on

I thought I replied but apparently it didn’t go through, your desk sounds awesome, really cool you can disassemble for storage or transportation. When I designed my desk I knew I wanted 6 feet wide, so I made it about as big as I could while still being able to get through doors. Sometimes I have to stand it up tall to slide through different areas, being able to take it apart would be great

Wow I love the custom desk! I want to build something with similar depth in a few years when 42 inch 4k monitors are a little cheaper and a little easier on Gpus to drive.

Thank you! I’ve been using it for about 4 years, and knowing what I know now I would have added a couple things and built a little differently but overall I love it. It’s always nice when you built exactly what you want and that’s what I did. I don’t want to butcher it up now days to make things the way I want because it’s totally finished. Something I would recommend when you go to build one, rig up some type of cable management trays on the back, that’s one of my regrets. Also side note, I’ve been thinking about trying out a 55in 4k tv as a setup monitor. Not sure if I have the depth for that but I thought it might be cool to try, what do you think?
