So many beautiful pages completed!! They are some of my favorite books, but I'm so worried I won't do them justice. I do have one WIP in Symphony, it's the cats in a boat one that you did! Hi, Alena; how are you? Ukraine is in my prayers, yall are pretty tough over there. So, I have been wondering what your strategy is for choosing colors. You are really good at that. Do you use a color scheme program or something?

Thank you for your prayers!We all appreciate it a lot! No, I never use color scheme programs, they don't work for me. Usually when I look at the page I can imagine basic colors (I don't know - sky is blue, bricks could be grey or terracotta, let's do autumn yellow tree instead of green and so on, and in such way step by step I select colors. of course I try to use balance of dark and light shades, and to think carefully which will be the focal point and its colors, and which colors of the background would compliment this main object... Quite often the subject of the page helps to select basic set of colors (like you wouldn't color Egypt goddess with pink or violet, you need to select between traditional blue, turquoise, gold, red etc...)
