I was searching for PM information as I’m wanting to get into it in the future and thankfully your videos were the first to pop up. I absolutely love your channel and your energy! On my day off I’m going to sit and binge watch allll the vids I can. I am curious about the work to life balance of a PM? Holidays off? Have you ever had to travel for work? Things like that. Thanks!

Aww thank you hun glad the videos are helpful to you 🤗🤗 so work life balance depends on the company you work for. But generally my work life balance has been fantastic: I take all my days off a year, I generally work a 9-5 with a later day here and there (then again I have days that I’m not actually doing real work until 11 and mentally done by 3 😅) so overall good hours. I think it’s more that there will be busier periods. But you manager your schedule: if you’re good at what you do, you won’t have a problem. And I’ve only traveled for work a few times: but once again it just depends on your project: if it’s a client project and your client is far, 9/10 times you’ll be travelling. I have actively opted out of that lifestyle and don’t work at companies that will require excessive travelling

Wow this is amazing.. Big Big Congratulations. . . My project got cancelled a few weeks ago and we are going into Yearly reviews - this helps alot as I am also aiming for a promotion. 😅 - A man got to move from JPM to PM. Would be nice though to do a video on 1 on 1s.

Thank you so much lovely 🤗🤗 and ah sorry your project got cancelled 😩😩😩 I know the pain. Defo go for promotion though, cos tbhhhhhh if you still did good work, it should still be recognised. Let them know that your performance up until now is a good indicator that the project would have had a successful delivery ! - will maybe do one in the future. But I don’t think it will be this year 😅

Well done on your promotion Ire. I have watched a clip from you before and thought you are so on the ball I want to be like you. My business is with dogs and I did 2 events in2022 a dog event and the Jubilee for my local community. I have the opportunity to do one next year and I don’t want to miss the opportunity and sabotage myself as I a working and so exhausted. I wish I was as tech savvy as you and so I will trying to do some introduction bitesise courses at Apple to learn how to navigate sone the things you plan that you mention in your other tips. Business justification: the project board evaluates if the project is worth continuing or not, and it wasn’t so they canned it but it had nothing to do with you ❤

Tactical moove from HR. The know its demotivating to get confirmation of 2 years was waist of time. You was so skilled they didnt want to loose you, why promotion was a leverage to persuade you to stay.
