Kick ass collection my dude. Very value dense, I went for the same appeal in my collection. I try to have as little filler as possible while still having all the titles I want and am interested in getting into. What I like most is the organization, the minimizing of “greatest hits versions” (ugly imo), but most importantly how minty all these look. They look like they have that original “fullness” sensation that these cases have when they aren’t smashed up or water damaged. A majority seemed to be lacking of scratches altogether. Again; kick ass collection!! Props!!

Great collection of games. I wonder with that kind of catalog that would take me years just to take time, sit down, and play through them all...just thinking about it, it would probably be at least over 500 hours of gameplay.

@pbear7304 Yeah, I have some rpg's with 50/60 hours of playtime. Those would take already around 500 tbh. to beat everything I guess would take around 800h.

I wanna start collecting for ps2, but i find the prices rather expensive, i assume you started collecting before it became big

@rodrigorafael9514 Yeah, PS2 is very popular and for many the reason to collect in the first place. I collect PS2 Games around 2014. Alot of people on YT started collecting PS2 years later and have way more games and also the ultra expensive ones. You can find still good deals. It requires patience tho. I always focused on my favourites and took it slow. If the games u looking for are expensive, than I would save some cash first and then try to find those outside ebay. You can google ebay alternatives from ur region, or engage with the community in facebook and discord groups. That helped me finding f. e. Silent Hill 2 last year for 80 in mint condition.

@jesuschavez9110 lol yes, i grew up playing imports. My retro stuff is mostly american. (ps1, ps2, N64, Gamecube). With the the hdmi generation I buy by condition and price. Just try to avoid german versions, because of the huge logo on the box.

@jahswaveofficial I‘ve replied to those kind of questions, but I‘ll repeat it for you. I buy my PS2 games mostly from regional used sites, ebay, or from collectors in discord/facebook groups. 2nd may be pricewise not as good as finding them in flea markets, or 2nd hand shops, but collectors keep their stuff mostly in pristine condition. Facebook Marketplace is also kinda underrated imo. I even buy from amazon ps2 games from time to time. Lukiegames is pricewise compare to dkoldies much better and I can recommend. They mix sometimes black label case with greatest hits disc, but had a good experience. No need to gatekeep. Retro games are very popular for gamers and resellers so that‘s why it kinda sucks to „hunt“ video games, but with some patience you can still find good deals. I also collect since 2013

@ps2chanel771 Bought my stuff from different Places and Collectors. I don‘t really have that ONE site where I find everything, but I recommend to check out ebay alternatives in your Region. I believe in France it‘s Leboncoin. Bought actually bunch of my Games there. Facebook marketplace is kinda underrated. If you are looking for very expensive and rare Games you might wanna check out various Community Groups in facebook, or discord. Getting in touch with people can really help. You can also import Games from the US, but that obvsl. cost more, since you pay taxes etc. I ordered once from lukiegames and I can recommend. If you look through ebay, make sure you check directly through the website of it‘s country. Sometimes the shipping is not set. If you ask nicely they ship it to you. Did that also few times. Keep in mind I collect for almost 10 years now.

@dragonballzgirl297 Yeah, I still have my phat ps2 console from my childhood. I gathered 2 ps2 slims aswell while collecting. If you looking for a console, I had very good experiences with the facebook marketplace. You can find consoles/consoles bundles for a far better price than ebay, or retro video game stores. The conditions are also good. Or check through google "ebay alternatives". You can find also in some regional used sites good deals. Atleast that's how I did it. BUT if you just want to play ps2 games, you can always use an emulator for that. The pcsx2 provites upscaling up to 4k and the games are looking great (and hate to admit it, but some even better than on a original ps2). Played God of War on a friends pc and I couldn't tell if that was a ps2 game or remastered on ps4 lol

Legacy of kain defiance is a underated game i found out about the game beacause the game trailer appears on the hitman 2 silent assasin as you boot up the game the trailers appears first
