Hello , your videos are lifesaving for me. I am currently struggling with POTS. I used to be a very energetic and healthy women but last year my life change after a GI infection I developed the most horrible dizziness while standing. Now my symptoms got a lot worse to the point that I wasnt able to stand up , take a shower or even go to the restroom. My symptoms are diziness 24/7 , I feel like a heavy weight pushing me down, extreme fatigue , palpitations , chest pain , problems with temperature sometimes mostly being feeling hot. I feel like my life is ending. I FEEL VERY DEPRESSED :(

I don't have POTS but I do have active Crohn's disease, pcos, endometriosis, migraines, etc. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, even the bad. With going through this quarantine and having three family members still working in it and teens still hanging out with a friend i have been flaring a lot! I'm flaring up real bad too! Thanks to you, I found out I had POTS ( never heard of), only been misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Now I've looked into POTS I am certain I have undiagnosed POTS and Sjorgen's Syndrome, which makes me sad that I cannot see a doctor about it. I'm only 23 but this isolation is killing my spirit, as is the awareness of POTS and my super red feet. On top of that I identified my 'heat rash' as Erythromelalgia, makes me upset with doctors again not recognising it because it's easier to call it a heat rash. Thanks for your videos Aimee, I love the company you give me in my symptoms and out-of-breathness. It's hard for me right now but because of your POTS videos I'm ordering some compression socks.

I saw you post. I know it's several years old but I too have untreated Sjogrens dysautonomia and emotional symptoms that are constant and overwhelming. I would be surprised if you replied but I'm hopeless beyond words. I just now stumbled on this video and saw your comment.
@wow-dw7gh7 күн бұрын
@@larrylester9785 Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that. 😔 It feels like forever since I left that comment! My current doctor thinks I have Scleroderma (autoimmune) instead of Sjögren's syndrome. They share a lot of common skin and dryness symptoms. I have hope I'll have a diagnosis soon. Unfortunately the tests only diagnose your body when it is really damaged, which make take years. Good news is the compression stockings really help me and I would recommend them to anyone with dysautonomia. I'm really sad to hear you are feeling hopeless. I have been there many times. This health condition brings with it more emotional suffering than anything else and I have been on the edge of despair with no return many times. Please trust me, you are not alone. If you have no one else to support you right now, I am here to listen at least. Trust your body, don't give up. I have had many 'crazy' symptoms diagnosed since my last comment through advocating for myself. I have Erythromelalgia (burning extremities), exercise/vibration induced hives and now blue anaemic lips. As well as many other health issues that all have one root cause. For my own sanity, I've made a medical history that I bring to doctors because it's too complicated to explain. Maybe you'd like to try that. Hugs ❤️

I’m in a bad flare right now. Constant spitting up acid and food that won’t digest from early today. Couldn’t eat dinner. Tried a couple bites of food and got sick again. Heart rate was about 108. I just got it to go down to 62 laying still for awhile. But if I get back up sick it jumps way up. Sucks. I just took zofran because nothing is helping. It’s harder when you have kids especially little ones.

Awwww I know that feeling. You cope much better than I do.... I struggle and get grumpy with others...... may I ask if you get grumpy? If I feel so bad I can’t lift my head, I have to hav3 quiet and I sleep for an hour. I always put a timer on so I don’t over nap. Your video totally resonated, bad days are the ones most people don’t see... I have hashimotos, ME/CFS, essential thrombocytosis, bile salt malfunction and rheumatoid arthritis. I do strength training too, I pace myself and I take betain and pepsin to help my low stomach acid. I’ve just found your channel and think you’re really wonderful. I hope you coped ok for the rest of the day. You have way more things in your life than I could cope with I think. Xxx

hi, aimee - wow, did your video ring a bell for me! from 30 (!) years ago. thank goodness for television at times like this, when you're a young mom. i had a crazy thought - i understand that showers are difficult for many, as they depend on their compression socks - would it be too strange to leave them on during your shower? would that help? you could take them off after your shower, and sit on your bed and sponge your legs clean. i realize that they might be even harder to take off while wet (though being poly, they might dry pretty quickly), but maybe you could survive a shower with them on? keep up the good work, aimee!

I have been needing to get tested for gastroparesis which 3/4 pots patients have and it cause intolerance to every food because your stomach takes longer to digest it. I get leg cramps in both legs that feels like flu like aches and that I think is related to neuropathic pots and nerve damage from blood pooling in the legs

To start off, may God touch your body and heal you and give you strength to get through days like this. Thank you!😊 And no i dont take any medications. I am very sensitive to medications, if theres a side effect i get it. Ive tried a lot but they are never worth it for me.. I was a teacher had my own Montessori school for 10 yrs. I collapsed at work I could never go back that was in 2010. But I spent three years before that going to tons of doctors integrative doctors specialist nobody knew what was wrong. I got misdiagnosed I think with Lyme! Went down that road for 6 years thousands spent on treatments supplements etc... I’ve been in a severe flare for about 7 weeks . I can’t sit up much and no standing at all. I had a severe back injury beginning of feb pots came on about a week after injury. My autonomic doctor said it’s from physical or emotional trauma... these things plus inflammatory traumas like surgeries anesthesia ,vaccines . Watching you is like watching myself I am so sorry you’re dealing with this my dear especially being pregnant and having a little one running around. I just can’t imagine and I pray that you have a lifting of all of these symptoms🙏

If you have all these pains and your daughter needs your attention now how you want to bring another child? Is it fair? Many healthy ppl decide to have one child to give their attention to the importance of raising one child ..forget about ppl who have chronic list of problems...

shahilagh I know it’s hard for people to understand invisible illness.. but this illness is real and it’s taken my whole life as I know it away. I can’t drive I can’t work many days I can’t even get to the bathroom I have to go in the trashcan next to my bed. Then I might have better days where I can stand up for five minutes without feeling like I’m going to black out. All this going on inside my body that nobody can see but it is happening and when your brain is not getting blood or oxygen it thinks it’s going to die. Even though you know you’re not gonna die your brain can’t decipher all it knows is it doesn’t have oxygen or blood So the symptoms begin!!
