No it wouldn't be epic. Stock cars exist for cheaper that will run faster times than a built time attack gtr unfortunately. 90s jdm tuners aren't really competitive in time attack by today's standards anymore. Manufacturers got too good.

That's the Corkscrew. Laguna Seca is known, infamously or famously, for that little section of track, lol. It's so wild seeing it from inside a car! I thought he was going off the first time as well, but he held it. Dude can wheel!

Yo LZ; I just blew the getrag 6 speed in my bnr32. Was doing the same things yours is doing. Get in touch with Neat gearboxes out of Australia - they can supply you with a new 3-4 Syncro sleeve and a new dog ring for 3rd gear. Hard parts to find elsewhere

While I've never been to or driven on Laguna Seca in real life I drove it endlessly in Grand Turismo, just endlessly. In free practice just trying to shave of a bit more every time. even if it took the whole evening because you set a killer lap at the start. And it's so fun t see the onboard camera and recognize every turn, every bump and every dip that unsettles the car, pretty much like you've been there. Just nuts. And I'm talking Gt4/GT5. Even the earliest versions had a lot of cool JDM specials and trivia in it. I owe a lot to that game. Makes me want to get a PS5 and get the latest version.

Pro tip for getting into 3rd without grinding if you have bad synchros is to double clutch & rev match. My 97 Fiat Uno had bad synchros and the only way to get into 3rd without grinding was to double clutch it. For the downshift, from 4th hit the clutch, put it in neutral, release clutch, rev match, clutch in, hit 3rd, release clutch. Worked every time for me!

17:05 DO IT!!! My dream build, lol. Well, my dream is a mix of track and street R32 GT-R. Like rear seat delete, half cage/harness bar, bucket seats, full suspension overhaul, and a modestly built engine with single turbo and cams at like 600hp on E85, a beefed up fuel system with a surge tank in the trunk, and also the battery relocated to the trunk so I could have a big ol' catch can setup in the engine bay. Also have it be a VSpec in 326 White with all the N1 bits. That's my dream car, lol.
