It’s been great so far! Started snowing yesterday afternoon and hasn’t stopped yet.

Great video, Chris! Glad you’re enjoying your time in the northeast. I plan on returning to the marathon distance for the first time since 2018 by running Grandma’s Marathon in June in Duluth, MN. Also going to do two local half marathons in May and October. Hope your family has a great Christmas and a happy holiday season!

Was hoping to get a marathon in early in the year, but decided to wait and let the leg heal up! Hope you have a great holiday.

Tentatively, my A race is Santa Cruz 70.3. In February, I'm running in the Galveston Half Marathon. Tis the year of halves.

I’ve also been thinking about registering for Santa Cruz!

My off-season is over. I'll miss sleeping in and not being so strict with nutrition, but I am looking forward to my races this year. I have a 50-mile race this year, and I'm nervous! Haha

Nice!!! I’ve been thinking about doing another ultra! Running on trails more lately has been nice.

I've been following you for quite some time. I was 250 lbs when i first tuned in and was enjoying running often. Work and Strss have got me back to 300 plus lbs and it seems like nothing i do will bring it down. You inspire me to keep riding and running and work my diet to get better. I miss being an athlete badly.

I’m sorry to hear that, but we all have set backs. I’ve certainly yo-yoed over the years. I tend to use races as a way to set a goal and stay motivated. Also starting with something small for a week like less junk food and build from there so it’s not so daunting.

@@CjayeMedia your video of training while on a work trip over seas was quite a confidence booster.

My A race will be Chicago marathon in October and three weeks after that I’ll be running NYC marathon. I’m also signed up for one half marathon and Shamrock 8K in March.

On my gosh! I’m so sorry. That sounds terrible. I hope you heal up and have a great 2025.
