My Rad Rover problems and some tips.

I go for a ride in my hometown and discuss the problems I've had with my new Rad Rover 6+ and I have a few tips for riding balance and turning.

Thanks for posting. I had the same problem with my new lectric XP 3.0 . I had to wait for a them to send a new throttle. And set the controls. Everything is ok now 😊

As far as video length, everyone has preferences, some of us like me, for these ride videos I love it as it gives a more full experience. I have heard from other content creators that short er videos ( less than 20 minutes and more so under 12) are typically more viewed and viewed fully. Depending on what you want, I say just go with your flow and just like with most things, try different ways and have balance. :) good journey :)

Rad has had multiple problems with there new controller. Fortunately their customer service is very good. They ended up sending us a new bike after several different problems with the new rad city 5+. Hopefully the new one will not have any problem has so far always been good. Very nice park, I haven't explored much here, just moved to Missouri this month. Hopefully it will be good, at least close to my research, which indicated the state is pretty ebike friendly and has a lot of trails of different types. Going to be very exciting once I get an ebike, biggest investment I've made, but hopefully a great one. :) going to try and remember all these tips, practice, make them automatic for me. Good to know you have knee issues but still stand on it when needed, going to prep myself there too I'm thinking. My knees aren't terrible, but they can be.

Wow all those challenges with getting your new bike sorted out must have been really frustrating! I see the video was recorded around 4th July. When did you originally receive the bike? I was surprised they just kept sending you parts and didn't just replace the bike when it first had a problem. Replacing it right away might actually have been cheaper for them as well as a better way to deal with a problem bike.

I got the bike in May. All said, they replaced the bike and I really can’t express how kind their customer support was. It came down to getting the right person to review the case. I’m enjoying the bike and I bought a RadRunner Plus as well. I’m editing three more videos now. Thanks for the support, ride safe.

It appears that you ride your ebike in top gear; I didn't see the manual gears change. Does that mean you are continually riding using turbo? Mike in Oz

Once up to speed I stay in top gear with pedal assist on 1 or 2. Otherwise, I’m ghost pedaling. I try to get some resistance for my legs. Recently, I started pulling a trailer with my dogs in it. This gives me a better workout.

Why didnt they recall the 5 and 6 ? Controller failure and wiring problems, on a $2000 ebike? Now rad is only selling one folder. The folders never had any problems. Unbelievable, I'd be mad. My $1200 folder, has 0 problems.

There only needs to be one tip... don't buy a low-end ebike like Rad.
