Just FYI in the early years of Sentai. You see a lot Sentai rangers riding motorcycles/motorbikes. Nowadays you hardly see the superheroes riding them because of Japan strict laws for motorcycles, including rules about riding, equipment, and modifications.

The main issue anyone really had with it was how they handled the 6th Ranger DekaBreak in Sentai, Omega in SPD In that he HAD no physical appearance instead is just a freakin ball of light, that just changes into his Ranger form for fights And the reasoning for this is just totally dumb as heck

@@Old_Gamerboy64 Well that and the one and only translator was busy. Some dozens of episodes of Changeman and Flashman were prepped and ready for translation that was never done. THen once the website was hacked, that was pretty much it. I never heard from the rest of them again. I was a pre-timer, so I set up where the captions would start and stop so the translator could just fill them in. They another person would fine turn them later.

Flashman truly had some creative moments in it when it came to timing the subs with the multiple different henshins they did for that season, made it feel pretty fun whenever they showed up. I’m a personal fan of Ninninger, but I can understand why it’s not like by a large sum of people I just felt it was a nice palette cleanser after watching Kyouranger since for all his issues at least, to me personally, Takaharu didn’t constantly overshadow everyone else by the end unlike Daigo Not to mention he multiple times acknowledges he needs to trust and work with his family to beat the villains unlike it felt like how Daigo and his team were told these lessons…and then Daigo goes to large solo enemies a LOT

I can confirm that the early ones are pretty fun, BFJ was pretty balls to the wall silly. Goranger had 99 episodes but JAKQ only had 30ish so the seasons still more or less line up with anniversaries. Couple of details: Dynaman was originally conceived as a baseball themed team before the name was changed. That's why their helmets have the molded cap. Dairanger was originally going to be more comedic "Chinese Food Sentai Chinaman" with cartoony eyes on the helmets. Someone noticed they looked better without them and they played it more serious.

There is a scene that whenever ninja man gets really angry for calling him a novice he'll transform by shouting "Angry Explosion!" He has a transformation into a samurai form called samurai man because he hates that word "novice"

So the magician hats ones are called Lupins which are known for being Phantom Thieves in stories or I guess real life? Lupins/Phantom Thieves are not the same as normal thieves as they do their own justice in a different way as how normal Police do theirs. This Sentai show is special due to the fact that it is actually 2 Sentai's in one show that's why it has a "Vs" in it. The show is called Kaitou Sentai Lupinrangers Vs Keisatsu Sentai Patrangers.

That Bioman (1984) was actually the initial team to be brought up becoming the original Power Rangers, they have 2 female members and they have an assistant robot which becomes the precursor for Alpha5. You can check the original pilot which starring Marc Dacascos as Jason. The licensing process is quite complicated and then it was time for the Zyuranger team which was new at that time and Saban then decide to use that footage and props.

so a little a bit some of the Sentai Teams Gokai Yellow(Gokaiger) voices the Pink Kyuranger(the Constellation one) and there was a video on youtube that she basically fights with herself Don Brothers is based off of the Momotaro folk tale in Japan Lupin vs Pat is Thieves vs Police Zenkaigers each one is based on a past team Red = ZyuRanger(Mighty Morphin), Yellow = Gaoranger(Wild Force) Pink = MagiRanger(Mystic Force) Blue = Boukenger(Operation Overdrive) and Gold = Gokaiger(Super Megaforce) another note on Gold he has a Samurai Form(Shinkenger aka Samurai) and OhRanger(PR Zeo) i would also look at checking on transformations and mecha's

Fun fact about Power Rangers SPD and Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger: they have a sorta symbiotic relationship IN Japan. In one of the annual team up Sentai movies, in this case Magiranger vs. Dekaranger, Toei borrowed the Power Rangers SPD battlizer and had DekaRed use it in the film. Its the only time a Power Rangers battlizer was reverse adapted into Super Sentai. Also, in the early 2010s Toei dubbed Power Rangers SPD for Japanese audiences with the cast of Dekaranger dubbing for their PR counterparts.

You should have seen how the rangers from JAKQ transforms. It has got to be the most impractical sequence I have ever seen in a sentai, imagine if someone at the electrical facility accidentally spilled coffee into the control panel, causing a black out right in the middle of the transformation or if the enemy finds the base and attack them there. Then that's without bringing up what would happen if they encounter a monster in an area overseas...

For your question on if any of the early show are good it is quite simple really it would have been cancelled if the sale and rating is too low but none of the sentai show were cancelled really early so they were at least loved at the time of airing Even Kamen Rider despite having better sale and rating than sentai these day have certain season that got cancelled or ended early due to the sale and rating like Amazon for being too violent

If you're a power rangers fan and not specifically tokusatsu (the genre of show), the only series Pre-Zyuranger I could recommend is Jetman, but it's really good. About your SPD question, most people think it, Time Force or Dino Thunder are the best Power Rangers shows. Also, most of the time the sentai equivalent is just better, I can't think of an instance where the opposite is true except for maybe Season 1 of Power Rangers

I strongly recommend not watching Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger yet. Not because its bad, its fantastic! All i have to say is this, any sentai that has some weird cast of characters or even the premise is weird, it's often got the best story and character. Not saying the other sentai is bad, but those weird one is a must watch. Ps. And yes sometime the super sentai version is better than the PR one, like PR megaforce oh god what an abomination plus after that PR just go downhill they're struggling right now.

I'm a little disappointed the video you watched didn't include "Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger", "Super Sentai Strongest Battle" nor "The High School Heroes" but hey, hope you enjoyed it, nice vid man.
