@@GitanaAdelle Yea the stagecraft and Diana's physical performance are much better on "You are Super". However, even though she's only a bit older here, her voice is noticeably fuller and richer. Also, with the poor, computer generated translations, it's hard to know about the arrangements. My understanding is that she is presented with a complete arrangement, to which she then makes adjustments. I love your reactions. Please continue to showcase Diana. Wow, it's a rare case, when a person, who obviously doesn't speak Russian, pronounced "Diana Ankudinova" correctly. Bravo! The guy, which introduced her performance, for some reasons pronounced her last name incorrectly. Thank you for the reaction.

I'd like to say Diana's vocal coach has a big influence on her performances but I suspect Diana puts a lot of emphasis on every song she sings. She puts her mark on every performance. We see it time and time again. Sure, coaches can teach the technical parts of singing and vocal control, but the performer HAS to put their slant on it. That's the difference between an average singer and extraordinary singer. Her moves and emotions can't be taught, they, imo, come from the heart of the performer and Diana has that by the bucket-load. Thank you Gitana, a lot of your fans have been waiting for this and so glad you enjoyed it. xxx

At such events, sound engineers simply output the overall sound and loudness so that they can be heard everywhere. Unfortunately, we do not care much about its quality. Often artists don't hear themselves very well and those who perform live, like Diana, have to do it intuitively. Great reaction as usual. Love your passion. DIanna said in an interview that she can sing like this all day because it's her natural voice. She never forces or strains to hit any note. Her voice has extreme resonance and support. Her vibrato is out standing so this can't be forced. Her newer material she's been working with her vocal coach to expand her range upward. Music is in great hands with these young singers. I love reactors face the first time they listen to her from a reactors smile to a jaw dropping stare.

I agree with the other commenters here, her "You're Super!" performance was noticeably better, more evocative! I would love to watch you react to her performance of "Puttin' On The Ritz"; done on a smaller stage and for a smaller audience, but still ... she manages to make this old Classic (it's 80-90 years old!) seem neither 'dusty' nor 'dated'! And you get to watch her tap-dance (almost a 'lost art' - in the Pop world, at least)!

You should check out her performance of this on the "You're Super" show; the staging was way better, and she put significantly more effort into her performance (she might have been 'working off of' the staging), resulting in something two or three notches above this! One of her performances that's *really* worth catching, that's not from the TV show, is 'Putting On The Ritz'! She makes this Classic - remember, it's 80-90 years old - seem almost contemporary! And you get to watch her tap-dance! She also has a beautiful piece out there of her performing what I think is a classic Russian Christmas song (accompanying herself on piano!); be warned ... tissues necessary, as it includes a lot of footage of 'St. Nick' visiting little kids at orphanages (just remembering it is making my eyes wet)!

I was curious so I watched a vid of the top 15 contralto voices. None of them could produce the low notes that Diana easily does. Certainly not Cher. That was surprising too because I remembered Big Mama Thornton doing something similar ... she doesn't. Diana is unique. Have to say, though, that Lisa Gerrard's contralto is absolutely astounding. Diana is not there yet, probably never will be. Lisa is something else. But Diana is the best in the world at what she does. Lisa doesn't even pretend to do a voice with shamanic influences. Diana stands alone at the top.

Hi G. Hard to tell how much assistance she got on those pieces that were originally a part of the competition show, but considering the scope of the production it's not hard to image her getting input at least. She is home now and has put out two self recorded songs, Havana & Take On Me which is likely that she had more control over. You will notice though that in these two submissions she does not use the same techniques with these two songs. Again, even self isolated I cannot believe she is inundated with advise from people. She does have a voice coach I believe. Maybe this next year she'll do some more international traveling though she says right now she is focused on school. As an aside, I will mention that our mutual channel 'friend' seems in a better place and just published her first reaction video in a long time.

Hi, would recommend that you hear the human version of the one she was a participant. Much more in ambiance with the song. Also I can of hearing a delay or feedback on this one that you don't in the other one. I would also Gitana recommend that you react to a Spanish artist singer (another Diana haha) Diana Navarro EL PERDON . The Forgiveness. For ambiance purposes I recommend the original video and also since it's a Spanish song to download the traduction of the lirics in English prior to your reaction. You'll be surprise.
