After all, the big sister of Genshin has a pretty darker storyline that the mentioned at this point in the timeline, even if we, the ones that played Honkai First, have waiting for the other shoe to drop. And, to be fair, each chapter is becoming more and more darker in the important parts of the story, so i doubt that this will be far in the future.

The fact that childe and the traveller throw down once a week is kinda true to the story until the event with xinyan in inazuma because he says that they have frequent sparring matches, it could just be that sometimes they see each other on the journey and start fighting but I just thought that was kinda neat

I love the Teyvat Preview. It spoils the entire game, but in a cryptic way. Just listen to the Liyue part for example, it's revealed that the Geo Archon never even died and signed his final contract. And that trailer came out before the game. I absolutely cannot wait for the shown characters too. Here's hoping Cyno, Lyney/Lynette, Iansan and 5th Harbinger Pulcinella will be as fun to play as Diluc, Ningguang and Ayaka.

Well, she was a mortal that died and the adepti tried saving her by giving her adepti power to resurrect her but that made her go berserk so mountain shaper trapped her in amber until wangsheng funeral parlor found her and thought she was dead but QiQi escaped but she is considered an adepti now because she has the power.

Let me tell you about the sumeru narration. When dainsleif told that 'the god of wisdom's enemy is wisdom itself and the Oasis of knowledge is a Mirage in the desert of ignorance.' Each archons ideal objective is to prevent their nation from knowing too much about Celestia and heavenly principles. So, they should prevent it in order to safeguard the people, as previously in tevyat's history, several civilization have been destroyed due to knowing too much about the heavenly principles. Like sal vindagynr(dragonspine), tsurumi island civilization and Khaenriah. Thus, each archon has to make sure that the people don't know too much about the heavenly principles. Venti achieves this by allowing his people to roam carefree, thus most get addicted to alcohol and become lazy, not caring too much about Celestia and stuff and not willing to research about them. Zhongli achieved this by telling liyue every year about how the year would be and what they should do. Thus the people only follow zhongli's words like a contract. So, zhongli will make sure they don't go towards the path of learning about the heavenly principles. Ei/the Shogun does it by settling for eternity and not allowing his nation to move forward. Sumeru is a land of knowledge. So the researchers will uncover the secret somehow in the future. So, the god makes the people spread and learn misinformation, for the true knowledge will lead to their doom by the heavenly principles (the god of wisdom's enemy is wisdom itself). Thus, spreading false info will prevent the researchers from knowing too much about the heavenly principles. Examples can be found by the watatsumi island researcher by the name kaushik. He tells that mondstadt has five winds instead of four and other misinformation told to him by the academia. Whilst researchers who research the truth, are not made to graduate from the academia as they might learn something forbidden. Researchers like hosseini and alrani are prime examples.their research papers are constantly declined by the academia as they have the intellect to uncover the truth about the heavenly principles.so discarding their research allows them to stop researching that field or path. Thus,the statement- The Oasis of knowledge is a Mirage in the desert of ignorance. The researchers are all unaware of the actual truth(ignorant) and thus, their false knowledge if a Mirage or cover up for the truth. Just in case you see this, I wanted to thank you. I have played genshin not since day one but still pretty early. I started towards the end of the very first klee banner. I became a fan of yours a couple months ago when you started posting your GI journey on youtube. I literally joined twitch just so I could follow you there and sub to see your full reactions and journey in the game. I appreciate how much you appreciate the details and while you won't pretend it's perfect, you still seem to enjoy the game and remain positive about it which is something I can't always feel from other content creators. But anyways, the point is I started to pay more attention to the details and reading the books and lore more because of you and it has refreshed my enjoyment in the game as a someone who is in late game and just sort of grinds in between updates. Like I've just enjoyed myself again because I've slowed myself down and started getting into the details, making sure to pause and just appreciate the environments even more. Talking to NPCs I ignored for awhile has been especially fun. So thank you for doing what you're doing! You've actually helped me enjoy the game so much more.

@@kilala3978 basically the gist is as most people know, Hu Tao wants to burry Qiqi, but not only because Hu Tao deals with the dead but she feels like the child already suffered living in the mortal world who even died at the early age yet someone made her a living dead to suffer for eternity, she wants to free her from suffering and this is also the reason why Hu Tao hates Baizhu because he is preventing Hu Tao from burrying Qiqi because this is his only clue to what he seeks: immortality (maybe that's the unknown sickness the clerk is talking about why Doctor Baizhu can't heal himself) But when Hu Tao realized how Qiqi might have indeed suffer when she was still living and now that she's a zombie she might gain a normal life and relive her childhood once again. Hence Hu Tao never try to burry her again and even wants to make up with her yet Qiqi is already traumatized at the sight of her from afar

I asume that people have already (and you arnold) realized that Khaenri'ah's act having no number has a meaning, that all the "lore" of the act will be shown through all the common acts in little pieces, maybe and probably with a big great finale at the end, but the "act" itself it's already been started through dainsleif quests each patch. I even think we are going to meet some Khaenri'ah' zone before all the acts, during dainsleif quests, not just at the finale. (we are already touching some warning alarms with enkanomiya) Ontopic again, I hope you also watched sometime the jp version of Klee's trailer, her jp voice is the best and makes the trailer billions of times better (specialy with the little voice detail when she bumps into jean, things that are poorly missed in the english versions).

"In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity(Plane of euthymia?), most are content to live and not to dream"(Sumeru plot) But in the hidden corners, where the God's gaze does not fall(N quote in Fontaine storyline), there are those who dream of dreaming (Furina probably? I wouldn't be surprise if they reveal at the end that Dansleif was Lumine's ex-lover reason why they have bitter interactions toward each other and huge reason why Dainsleif seems the one who wants us to defeat him and prove it that we are the worthy to save our sibling well if you choose lumine instead of Aether the story can be revise from lover to best pal

Personally, I would guess it's something related to Khaenriah Since Dain was a royal guard in Khaenriah, what if he was in love with a princess? (doesnt have to be a specifically a princess, just that it sounds like the typical knight x princess thing you see) and that Princess dies during the Cataclysm?
