Hey Gitana fun fact. The very high notes in the harmonies are Adam Rupp the beat boxer. Adam has a beautiful Alto voice. which we RARELY get to hear. Gitana, If this doesn't make you emotional your heart has hardened too much. This was recorded and shot entirely in the Austrian Alps last year during their European tour. And the talk of us being alone n the universe, this song dispels that with the line, " When I am in awesome wonder, of all the WORLDS (not world) thy hands have made". God is good all the time, we have only to still our minds and listen. You can hear his voice in the wind, rain, snow, in the birds singing. One has only to be still to hear him.

I love that they added the chorus, "It is well with my soul." Horatio Spafford wrote It Is Well around 1874. Horatio Spafford was an attorney. He invested in real estate in Chicago in the Spring of 1871. In Oct. he lost all his investment in the great Chicago fire. He had lost a son before that as well. He decided to take his family to England to hear their friend Dwight Moody preaching. His wife and 4 daughters left and he was joining them later. The ship they were on sank, killing all 4 of his daughters. He received a telegram from his wife with just two words, Saved alone. While sailing to join his wife, as the ship crossed near where the downed vessel sank, he wrote the words to "It Is Well With My Soul."

Glad you enjoyed this so much. Did you notice Adam actually sang 2 lines by himself. He doesn't like singing solos as he doesn't feel comfortable with it, but does it on occasion when its simple and then song requires no beatboxing. There are some live versions of the guys doing this song under an awning during a rainstorm where they are standing on a picnic table surrounded by fans and security. As much as I love this version and the scenery I love that version more because in a way it is hauntingly beautiful, and you can really tell Adam sings along in that. I don't think you've watched Summer in the Country yet, so I think you'll like that one. Just something I noticed with this video though is I struggled to hear your voice sometimes, so I'd turn the volume up but then felt like my ears were blown out by the volume when the music video was turned back on.
