My (Reading) Identity Crisis

I love this, I still count the books I don't love because they help me to identify what I do love. I'm glad you're beginning to enjoy reading again, it's such a beautiful thing. Based on the books and story type you mention, you may also enjoy: We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Lolita, and Sharp Objects I've noticed this shift, for me it was moving away from YA in general. I love reading classics and I'm delving into sci-fi and thrillers more. I usually read more than 1 book at a time especially when I'm working on longer books. Sometimes I read 3 in a month, sometimes 10, it just depends on my mood.

We Have Always Lived in a Castle has actually been on my list for a while! So this is a sign!! Ooo, I’ve never read Sci-Fi but my goal is to check it out this year! 10 books in a month?! How? I need to get to that level 😳

@@hudsonmccarthy6267 I mix audiobooks (listening with increased speed) and physical books. Otherwise I would be lucky to read 4 a year.
