Congratulations on finding the house you're going to be moving in to! Selling and buying a house is no easy feat and takes a lot of energy. I need to read lore olympus vol 4 as soon as I can, as I have enjoyed all the previous volumes so far. I also wasn't a fan of the ACOTAR series so don't worry, you're not alone in that. I really liked in the weeds and I preferred it to lovelight farms as well. I think the second book stepped up the writing and beckett is adorable?! I really like his character! You've made me curious about comfort me with apples.

Totally agree about how frustrating it is not having an indication about a book being part of a series. A few days ago I picked up a Tracy Borman book from the charity table at work, got home, googled and found it to be book 2 🤦🏻‍♀️ Loved your vlog, yay for the house news 🤞 Looking forward to your solo adventure, I'd never done anything like that 💐

I have The Phoenix Keeper on my TBR and look forward to reading it . I found Mrs Dalloway on Audio did not keep my interest, although like you, I think it will be better in a physical copy . I am a big fan of Richard Osman books and have the new one from Waterstones as well . I am reading Rewitched at the moment and was so excited about it coming out that I ordered so soon as Lucy started talking about and watching the journey on her KZbin channel.

Is shower pressure a universal husband thing? 😂 Mine is exactly the same! No hotel or Airbnb ever has good enough shower pressure for him haha Oh wow I didn't get the twist in comfort me with apples literally until it happened. I was so shocked 😂but then again I NEVER guess stuff like that, I'm horrendous at guessing endings So much of my TBR is books you've recommended.... Rewitched is definitely on my October tbr! I hope having a day off every 2 weeks helps you avoid burnout - it sounds perfect to have a day to catch up and just breathe! And great news about the house ❤

When you say on some books that you are going to put them into your school library does that mean that actual copy? I’ve always assumed libraries paid more for books because they are lending them out and have to give the author more royalties than if it was just read by one person. I don’t know how it works, just made an assumption, so would be interested to hear how it works.

That’s true of public libraries but for school libraries (at least tiny ones in Somerset!) they mostly rely on donations as they don’t have much of a budget at all. So my donated books go straight into the hands of the kids at work ☺️💛
