Hello! I love your courage of showing your acne prone natural skin, pigmentation, facial hair and your natural beauty. We are all in the process of learning, and I wanted to share that the use of razor on facial hair causes more pigmentation due to the minutest graze or irritation. Not to mention the after-effects of growth of spikes or ingrown hair causing more PIH. If taking a razor to face is a regular skin-care routine, may I suggest lazer hair removal, it works wonders. I also suggest a mild chemical exfoliant like mandelic acid or lactic acid, as physical (beads) exfoliant causes irritation which in turn causes PIH and scaring, which takes forever to fade on brown skin.... these are just my suggestions, from one brown skin sista to another. Wishing you luck :)

Thank you for the video. Your skin is flawless except a little problem of acne. Learn from someone who tried everything to eliminate acne. Acne can’t be cured, only managed. All you need is: 1. Every morning clean you face (keep away from eye area) with Clearasil face cleaning pad (or any other brand as long as it has 2% salicylic acid) 2. Then use Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Creme (it moisturizes, decreases wrinkles) 3. Use DAILY FACIAL MOISTURIZER SPF 15 on the top of that (while blocking sun rays, it prevents dryness by keeping the skin moist) The above three things keep your face cleared and toned, you will have a perfect skin to the point that it will look as if you are wearing make up. I have been doing it for 10 years. I don’t usually swear. But I swear by this.

I'm glad you did this video. My friend has a similar skintone as you and after watching one of your videos on the maybelline lipsticks nude nuance and spicy or something ,both are nude lipsticks, and you said that both of them are good for dusky complexion, I gifted those 2 lipsticks to my friend, but it didn't suit her at all, she asked me to take them because she cannot use it. I was very disappointed, I think you used lighting for that video which made those 2 colors look good on dusky complexion but in reality it doesn't suit. But I'm glad you posted this video. Thanks.

Because same skintones have different undertones plus how you wear makeup and the pigmentation of your lips also affects how the lipstick will look like. And above all nude shades are very personal. Some ppl like washed out nudes some like lil deep nudes. So better don't buy nude lipsticks for someone else. You should have gone for safer shades.

For example I am 2 shades lighter than her but touch of spice don't look that good on me, probably coz I have a different undertone. So, what I do is, instead of applying the lipstick as a full blown lipstick I just dab it a little on my lips. That gives a very nice flush of colour to my lips. Another way to use the lipstick is to use it as a blush. Hope it helps.

Nude lipsticks are very personal and subjective. What I consider pretty on mind, another with my skintone might not think same. Best is if you find out which type of shade the person enjoys b4 buying. Does she like darker nudes or light? Sometimes nudes work better with a bit of brown lip liner.
