I agree that Hybe promoting Sakura and Chaewon on Korean variety is a given but I feel like Yunjin (also of PD 48 fame) is really going to be a big asset. Her fluency in English helps her push to the west with ease. Also, like the others, she has a bit of history fans can look back on. Not to mention the girl has vocals for days which I hope let her show off. Additionally, I feel, like IVE, fans are going to try to find reasons to like the other members. I just hope, again like IVE, they don't get upset that HYBE is going to at least start with banking on the aforementioned members already being known by the public to push the group.

I love IVE and honestly, I understand the way the companies are promoting the members that already have a steady fanbase. I have always liked Wonyoung so I went into IVE already stanning her but all the other girls captured my attention too. I think they are all extremely talented and they are growing in popularity too. I see a lot of Liz and Rei comments that get upvoted in comment sections and so on. But what I’ve seen is that a lot of people purposefully hate on Wonyoung and Yujin for being promoted and having heavy fan bases. I can’t help but think that that might be the same case for this new group because Sakura and Chaewon are extremely popular and will probably be well-promoted. All this to say, I think that the group itself will flourish naturally like IVE is currently doing and that people shouldn’t hate on the already popular members for something so silly as having already debuted. But I think it will be likely that we will see hate for kkura and Chaewon for something they can’t even control since it was similar for Yujin and wonyoung. But I know there will be fans who will stand up for them and I think that’s what people need to do to help the group because those who hate on certain members aren’t fans of the group.

having been an hkt48 fan way before i got into kpop, the idea of sakura going pop punk is super interesting to me, because she's done that sort of thing before, but it was way cuter bc hkt48 is a cute/bright concept group. so it was always kind of about the like, cuteness of the badassery (hkt48's single "shekarashika" is a good example of that dynamic). it's cool to think about how things might shift as she's taken on a more elegant/mature image in Korea

Used very subtly as a support, not used as a crutch or a stylistic feature so much. -concept: I don't really know words for concept, but I'd say mature, chique, quite like a mature and deeper, somewhat more refined version of what Izone was doing - Lore: there wasn't really any explicitly evident lore, though their name referring to the angel with 6 wings does tie them in with the HYBE universe in a sense somewhat. I'm sure I'm just missing something, but it definitely was not as explicit as other HYBE groups. - Sakura & friends: I wouldn't say it's Sakura and friends as much as it is in other groups. They seem to be playing to Chaewon a lot as well. In fact, the member who is standing out the most in this group would be Yunjin, who starts the song and is prominent throughout it all. I feel like it's a matter of waiting to see what HYBE will do with them. - Quality: ridiculously good. - Success and charting: time will tell

The members looks more girly-ish, but I feel that if you go down the girly side it’ll just make them look like they aren’t that original. Its not really suspicious.even boy groups are selling million.older groups sales have also increased.its just globalization of kpop ,before shops and shipping of album was not available in majority of country, but since kpop is getting popular ,kpop shops and shipping is increasing.

This sales are way suspicious and a lot of fans noticed it
