I've had a similar experience with anxiety. I'd get so anxious at school, my stomach would hurt so bad, I'd also get so bloated. So I kept just leaving school early like multiple times a week (I think I missed like 82 classes/blocks in one semester.. it was bad). I went to the doctor, had blood tests, even had an ultrasound to see if I had something serious going on. turns out it was anxiety causing all of it... but because I knew people get frustrated with people that fake it, I just thought I didn't have it. I also had a friend that has been on anxiety meds for years that had expressed her frustration with people that fake it... so I pushed of getting diagnosed for like five years... just got diagnosed with severe anxiety like two months ago.

wait what- my anxiety story is exactly like yours. I’ve had it my whole life, would constantly call my mom about my stomach hurting when I was little, and I literally have emetophobia too (the technical term for the fear of sickness and throwing up) I get bad anxiety attacks if I stay up too late. This is so weird to me that everything you’ve said so far is exactly what I’ve experienced. yoga and exercise is what I’ve found is the most beneficial to me. also anything that keeps my hands busy. this shit sucks man. also?? I’m about to start my period too 😭😭

I'm very interested in your in depth anxiety story. I also suffer from anxiety since I was 5 years old (I'm 21 now). I feel you omg I have emetophobia my whole life and I can't remember a time where I had no anxiety throwing up. I never throw up and that doesn't make it easier because when I feel sick (and I do almost every day) I'm just so afraid that I cry for hours until I feel normal again...much love💕💕

i feel like a lot of people forget that diagnosis and therapy aren’t always accessible for everyone. it can be hard for someone to receive the proper diagnosis and help they need if they don’t have insurance or all the money lying around that it would cost. i’m 26 and i didn’t get diagnosed by a doctor until last year for my anxiety, depression, and adhd, but i’ve known almost my entire life that i struggled with all of those things. i live in canada where healthcare is basically free, but my anxiety and fear of doctors is what stopped me from getting help, which is also totally valid. it’s not wrong to self-diagnose, it’s not attention-seeking, and as far as i’m concerned, it’s ableist to think otherwise. thank you for sharing your experiences with us, it’s really admirable and i wish you all the best, kayli

It’s so weird how much I relate to your anxiety testimony, I remember when I was younger I would panic every time I thought I was getting sick, feeling nauseous etc., I honestly feel like my anxiety stemmed from that too. I’ve never been diagnosed but I know that I know that I have anxiety, it’s something that I’ve dealt with ever since I was younger and I never knew what it was when I experienced it when I was younger, I also think I might have some sort of minor depression bc of my anxiety.

I love that you’re sharing this!! I drink this tea called anxiety free tea from cerebral tea and it helps so much. I get a lot of panic attacks before my period. It’s hormonal. I also have emetaphobia I’m sure I’m butchered that! Throwing up is no fun at all it’s hard to do so it’s painful. I’m tearing up though watching your video cuz it’s nice knowing you aren’t alone!!

This is why I watch your channel. I'm 25 and have had anxiety since I could remember. Mine is mostly social anxiety so anytime I had to be around people( like starting school and dance) I would panic. Anxiety wasn't really a thing people talked about when I was a kid so I could never relate to anyone and thought something was wrong with me. I'm glad you're talking about it! Thank you for posting this video ❤

I also had the same thing. I worked hard on it, and now only when I'm anxious does it affect me. But it was bad...
@Sometimesijust9933 жыл бұрын
@@mrsclessons7780 I used to get it every night till the point where I expected it to come every night. I succumbed to it. And it’s sad cause I was only 11 and I know there are many young people who go through the same thing. I started to HATE nighttime and as it got dark I would feel my anxiety coming on. It would make me believe I was actually sick and about to throw up, and me believing it was it’s fuel. Eventually I realized it wasn’t gonna go away by itself so I had to do something about it. I started trying to learn how to fight it and little by little I stopped having those bad nights but they would still come often. Eventually they only came 4 nights a year. And that’s where I am now. Except when I do get them it’s no where near as bad as before. Now my anxiety pretty much just lingers on all day every day and it’s nothing I can fix now, I just hope it will fade away with time.

thank you so much for posting this. its so hard to be so vulnerable on the internet especially when you're in the midst of dealing with it. I've been subscribed for a long time now and you're literally my favourite youtuber, your videos always make me smile and its so comforting for me to watch. just because you aren't officially diagnosed with a specific anxiety disorder, doesn't mean you don't struggle with anxiety. there's a difference between sharing your raw experiences and the things you deal with, and just saying you have anxiety because its "trendy". while watching your videos its clear that you really do struggle with your mental health. you are so brave for posting this and it really helped me feel less alone. please don't listen to any of the hate comments, all they are doing is trying to get a rise out of you. you are valid. your experiences and mental health struggles are valid. i would love to see a video of you talking about your anxiety experiences throughout your life. please don't ever forget how amazingly powerful, courageous and beautiful you are. some days, if all you can do is get by and survive, that's okay. but just remember, the storm can't last forever. this pain will pass. pick yourself up and try again tomorrow. please take care of yourself xx

I completely understand about the diagnosis. I believe we know ourselves better than anyone else, especially doctors. We have lived with ourselves our whole lives, and we do our own research to better understand ourselves. I have had anxiety since I can remember, and is been so hard to deal with, and it was not difficult for me to research and understand within seconds that I’ve been suffering from anxiety. Doctors do not know what we have gone through, only we do, so I strongly believe self diagnosis is extremely important. I also however do believe getting diagnosed by a doctor does help validate our beliefs and opinions about ourselves. So proud of you for speaking on this, it’s extremely important ❤️

I think it’s very brave for anyone to share these thoughts and feelings. Sending you all the best vibes as you work through those things🤎 (FYI - I struggle with the same things and those memory loss/memory issues are often directly related to anxiety and depression. I’ve struggled with it forever and am also someone who needs to make lists and feels calmer when I do.) People are quick to react negatively to stuff like this but don’t stop to think about how hard it is sometimes for people with anxiety and depression to talk about it. It’s often very invalidating to voice it, especially to a camera where you’re not sure how people with respond once you post.. I’d really encourage everyone to keep it simple and if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say anything.

I agree I don’t think there’s always a need to diagnose some things. Like with anxiety or OCD there’s some people who are so dramatic and claim they have it when they don’t, but when you truly have it you know!

My friends would be quite mean because i was staying home and they thought i was lying or just wagging school but i really wasnt. i would even fake my smile, laugh and how i talked t everyone. i love how i have the same connection with you and your anxiety. i even went to doctors about home schooling and other stuff about my deppression. this stuff aint funny to play with or act like you have it because it really does hurt having these problems solving with anxiety. ive gotten in bad moods aswell because how fastrating overthinking was with the anxiety problem. everything you said was basically something I'm still dealing with.

Honestly hearing you say that you have been dealing with anxiety since you were young made me feel so much less alone because literally same! I really encourage you to go and talk to someone I know it’s hard the first time when you have to confide in someone but even if you fail, try again. My social anxiety which I had since forever got worse when I moved countries 4 years ago and since then I have also had depression and now besides social anxiety, generalised anxiety as well… I am the same age as you and now I am currently trying to figure it all out for the second time because I have gone to the doctor before and tried medications and therapy and that wasn’t very successful. Now a year later I am trying again. Don’t give up! one thing I try to do now is stay in a present moment because recently I have also been thinking about my future and literally panicking about it. I try to remember that what happens is out of my control so there’s no point thinking about it so far ahead. I would like to hear your full story, I think it would be very helpful. Take care and I know it’s hard to realise it sometimes but you aren’t alone and your feelings are valid x

I went to a psychologist for it, but they never did anything for me, now 2 years later i've decided to go again because i was to scared to even go outside. It can be really tough sometimes especially when your family just doesn't get why you're not going to school and all those things even after explaining several times.

I'm going to say something I haven't said out loud to anybody other than my best friend.( A little backstory) my family has been going through so major problems and it's very scary situations. Like people coming to our house in the middle of the night snooping around, asking where someone is. I was so scared to even GO OUTSIDE OF MY OWN HOUSE. 😭 I'm terrified of leaving the house without my parents because I'm scared of what I'm going to see when I get back like they're not going to be here anymore... I've had panic attacks in public, in the car, and I'll wake up in the middle of the night and start freaking out. I also have weird thoughts of horrible things like it's just random. I feel like there's something wrong with me. But I'm scared to go to the doctor because I'm scared they're going to tell me something bad like I'm sick or something.
