But really all of them. weeks ago I lost a best friend. and I watched the chosen and I related to some of the disciples. it reminded me that no matter what i am not alone, and Jesus is always there with me no matter what, like he was for Simon and the others. I was down on myself the other day because of my past. and i related with mattew. Most humans never focus on Jesus in a fashion that is not hypocritical, and those eyes and ears stay closed. @@Maria-qn6fe If there are parts of Jesus they fail to recognize the attitude of, why not just create a character that pleases them and write many books and make an idolatrous show that is all the rage. Then, they can always lean on twisting of scripture speaking of the finished works on the cross, and idolize the crucifixion and the blood above who Jesus actually is, and who they actually are. After all, its nice to be nice to people, and in their own mind be the “hope giver”. Rev 2 and 3 are written after the cross, but who can even begin to understand how to use 1 John 1:5-10 1 John 5:7 1 John 5:12 to understand what those letters mean. And, even then, that was just about ‘other people’ and doesn’t reveal things about the character of Jesus Christ at all! So says the devil and his minions in peoples minds. And they go on, choosing darkness over light because stepping into the light is burdensome, and with understanding comes the weight of realizing how many people are deceived. No. It’s more comfortable for most people to just, keep on keeping on.
