I was so sure everything seemed cheaper this year, even with the expensive danish krone, then I saw what other shops in Denmark want for the Doors album they apparently had left over… £70! So, don’t think so. I’ll try and get the Super Furry Animals. Anything from them is super important to me (as I’m sure you’ve deduced). Thank you so much for watching Mike. I would say this was a successful haul! Felt like I was right there with you. Too bad about The Doors record, but congratulations on Sleater-Kinney! I didn't get to RSD this year. Too old and too lazy!

I am very happy about this. Would it have cost me more IF they had the 2-3 I «missed» out on? Well… I probably would have put back 2 maybe 3 of the ones I got now, but then again, then that lovely dog wouldn’t have followed me home 😄 And probably also wouldn’t have looked twice at that Gorillaz and I’m very happy I gor that now. Also impressed that I didn’t look twice at any Rolling Stones albums this time around. But boy, I’d love to get that Tad,Malfunction… This was a good year. And really on a different level than that terrible Black Friday thing. Thanks for stopping by Mark 😊

I have many doors 😄 Some here, some in Norway, and also some for my friend who keeps my keys. Just in case thing… and also, there are some bottle openers! Aww… thanks, glad you liked it. I most likely wouldn’t have gotten the Gorillaz if they had that Doors in Stockholm, as it turs out, I found out after that it was nearly twice as expensive as both the Pixies and the Gorillaz, so that made even happier I got the Gorillaz 😊 Denmark, I reccommend 🇩🇰

Nice RSD pickups! I should have got that Pixies live album during RSD. I thought I could find it cheaper later on ebay but have not had any luck yet. I may see if they still have it at the store.

Thank you 😊 I was careful to grab that Pixies, as last years slipped me by. That store didn’t get it and ebay/discogs have either been to expensive or the shipping and subsequent customs from sellers outside the EU to Denmark would add too much to the whole affair (Brussels affair 😄)

I struck out on the few items I was interested in. I did see Pearl Jam, but I didn't buy it! I also saw Super Furry Animals and I didn't buy that either! On the other hand, I did not see Big Country. I really wanted Electrafixion, but I didn't see it anywhere. I may try during the week to find it in other stores. I saw the Pixies release for $79.99!!!! No way, to that. That is an insane price.

79,99?!? Are you kidding!?! I paid $55 for mine here and that was the most expensive one. I can’t believe they had no Super Furry Animals… But happy as punch about Electrafixion, Mazzy was annoyed he didn’t know about it I see, he he he heee… But a bit light on the ground as far as grunge go. No PJ, no Tad and I didn’t eve remember to look for Screaming Trees. So, no idea if that was around. I got PJ on the way, but the RSD one would have been fun… What’s the point of pre-ordering from the bands site and they don’t ship it until the same day its in the stores? Looking forward to seeing what you got Brian 😊

It looks like RSD is the same the world over. Heaps of old blokes lining up to get into a record store 😂 I like the old days when it wasn't about exclusive releases and the stores would have live bands and beer. You'd end up buying heaps of stuff anyway so it was win win. Having said that I went into Greville records after lunch because I was nearby and got Kristin Hersh, 300% Dynamite, Schooly D & The Beat. @@benrankins4446 A Norwegian (and to lesser extent Danish) Christmss tradition are buying cartoon… booklets (?) for Jul (Christmas), some of them very old (Knoll & Tott or Katzenjammer Kids are an 120 ish old comic strip now?) and one of those is Snøfte Smith, or Snuffy Smith. A real Appalachian mountain folks character! That’s who I was emulating 😄 As of June 17, 2019, Barney Google has run for an entire century, making it the third-longest running and uninterrupted comics series of all time, after Rudolph Dirks' The Katzenjammer Kids and Frank O. King's Gasoline Alley. After Gasoline Alley, it is the second-longest running newspaper comic still in syndication and producing new episodes as of 2021 (wikipedia). The strip was originally known as Barney Google but that chatacter disappeared entirely from its own series.

Ålborg looked very nice city. And ofcourse the countryside. You got big haul of stuff. Hopefully not overpriced. I went thru some RSD records and the priced were horrible, around 50 euros.. I got everything under 100, that was my budget.

I love Aalborg. It’s more than enough bigger city for me. You know, I kind of think Læsehestens prices were lower than other Danish stores? But I don’t know what they would charge for that Doors one they didn’t have. It cost effing 80 € elsewhere! So, kind of glad they didn’t have it now, I wouldn’t have grabbed the Gorillaz and Pulp if they had.

@@TommysVinylnaut I have never been to Møn. I visited Bornholm in 2019. That was lovely. I have wanted to see some more places around Denmark last couple of years but haven’t gotten to it. I want to see Fanø and I want to go to Jelling and see runestenene or Denmarks birthcertificate where also I think Norway is first mentioned by name anywhere in written form? Elegance, Bonny, Appetite, When Love Breaks Down, Desire As, Horsechimes, Cars and Girls, Knock on Wood (groovy prefab), Wild Horses, the guitar intro to Carnival 2000… All the world loves lovers! who Ever You Are… soooothing. Andromeda Heights. Cowboy Dreams. From the later albums, Let there be music and the Best Jewel Thief in the World! Such a good album (Crimson Red). Thank you for commenting 😊
