Hey Juna, 5th like here. I subscribed couple of days ago too. I like your videos, and as someone, who is still struggling with sales on Redbubble, every good advice helps. I am just sick and tired watching couple of more channels, copying each other, now they are all rating people's stores, buying products from those stores, doing the same things, they make me sick, and on the other hand it is actually nice to see someone different, and fresh as you are, doing something that may actually help us. I guess, if more people feel as I do, more will be helped, and you will grow in the process too. Looking forward to more nice videos like this one :)

@PedroSilva14 жыл бұрын
In stickers you can safely up the margin as I said, regarding the rest of the products, I usually mess with the margin until I get a .99 price, always around 30%ish, because you know if works in retail, why not here 😅
@PedroSilva14 жыл бұрын
Another tip regarding stickers, instead of just one sticker you can make one image specifically for stickers where you offer 2 or 4 of the design, it's better value because most people want smaller stickers for laptops and water bottles. And if you have some designs of a theme, you can make a sticker pack and bundle with all the designs, you just need to be careful with the separation of the items in the sticker. This way you can charge more and people won't mind.

Thanks

It's not mandatory to fill out the description. It's just helpful to have more keywords. You can skip it if you want. You can upload with the RB tshirt size. If you make it bigger than you will be able to put it on more products. 7500px x 7500px will fit most products on RB

Another idea for a video: You got the idea for what you have to make , because your shop has sales of that design. You may think from perspective, of someone, who works very hard (me) and had like 6 sales, and that's it, seems like it happen by chance. So video in that direction will help, from "clean slate". I am sure that would help many. Not necessary video, like, ok make a political t-shirt design, but in principal. Not sure if I came clear there... You may get the idea, what I meant ...

Hi Juna, how do you feel about having quotes on a t-shirt, by famous writers or playwrights? I want to do an attribution (crediting of the source) with smaller letters on the bottom of the design (such as: "George Bernard Shaw", or “Mark Twain”, or "derived from Oscar Wilde"). Why nobody does attributions on t-shirts, though a lot of the t-shirts quotes are obviously derivations of famous quotes by famous people? Of course I wouldn’t touch modern celebrities' quotes, to avoid trademark violations, plus their “quotes” are usually devoid of any wisdom, just vacuous, patented garbage.

Hi, Juna thanks for the valuable content :) I just have two questions here : 1- As I can see you are using single tags like positivity, meditation, etc. so how do you get a sale when those keywords already have tons of competition? 2- What is the Featured Product that you will use for this design? Sticker or Tshirt? Or Can we upload both differently? Thanks in Advance :)
@DetourShirts4 жыл бұрын
Here are my answers... 1. Tags are not everything. I believe every new design gets a chance to be on page 1 for some people for that tag. This is why design is so important. If your design is better than everyone else than people will buy it. When people buy it, it will be shown to more people. The question isn't is there too much competition.. The question is can you compete and design something better than the competition. 2. The featured product for me depends on what product I designed it for. Sometimes it's a sticker, sometimes it's a shirt and sometimes it's both.
@georgemcflyhonored4 жыл бұрын
how important do you think it is to to click on what media type it is? I have a decent amount of designs uploaded and I never really clicked that, Did everything else pretty well? Do you also think 20 + keywords in tags are too spamming. I usually have between 15 to 25.
@DetourShirts4 жыл бұрын
I don't know how much the media type helps. I think they are just categories. I use about 15 -20 keywords too. That sound reasonable

Really like your logo progression but. I think you lost the “peace” idea so I think the yoga pizza didn’t have humor. The idea of legs was great. Just maybe new message like “The feeling of zen after full of pizza” but short and snappy “zen post pizza” / “mellow haze” sort thing.
