Everyday in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro Philippines Group there are phones that are having the same issue as yours. First camera then sounds will follow. There is a manufacturing defect that results in issues in the motherboard. Only way to resolve this is to send it the service center for the board to be replaced. The batch that is hit most with this issue are the ones that are manufactured between June-July 2021. You can check yours on the box besides the small QR Code. Xiaomi has known of this issue yet does not issue a recall or even sent out a statement. They should extend Redmi note 10 pro's warranty to two years if they will not issue a recall.

I had faced this issue two times already on my redmi note 10 pro. When the last time it happened which is a year ago, I came to youtube to search about it but didn't see any videos regarding the issue so I went to the service center and they told me the only way to fix this was to change the motherboard. Luckily I had a warranty at that time so it didn't cost me a single penny for the repair but it took almost 1 month for them to repair due to corona and other reasons. It was all going well after the repair but today I faced the same issue. I never updated my device till now after that incident. But don't know how am I facing this problem again. If I want to repair this again, it will cost a lot of money and I'm not gonna do that. It was such a horrible experience on this device and I'll not use Xiaomi devices again.

Yes any normal user should not face this horrible experience of bad cpu manufacturing that too this early. Yes it'll cost about 3k+ for reballing from good local repair shops. But yes if you don't feel like doing it, do switch to a device that you wish to.

Ive had this issue before. It was just the camera at first, then suddenly while I was using it the screen turned off and it wouldnt switch on. It was way past my warranty period so I had it checked somewhere else and they said the motherboard is the issue. It costed me 2.8k php. And now it happened again. First the sim kept having problems, then the front camera is not working again. I think its only a matter of time before the phones dies where I need to replace the motherboard again. Its not worth it.

I too faced the same issue on 2nd may, just 1year 1week from buying the device and the service center charged me 11k. From now onwards not going to buy any Redmi devices and will not recommend others too. Because of their MIUI updates which are not at all optimised we have to pay the money, simply it's not done.

I have a experience to share I used to own a samsung galaxy j7 prime but it's home button stopped working after 2 years of usage.. when i went service centre they said it'll take 2200 rupees plus 1 week to change the home button..so i left and went to local repair shop..there they fixed my home button in 800 rupees and 2 hours , and it still is being used by a family member after more than 5 years (bought in 2017) and works perfectly fine

Yeah, my Redmi 7 performs better for more than 3 years than my current Redmi Note 10 Pro which keeps on overheating and the front camera just stopped working a few hours ago. I bought this on July 31, 2023, and this is now the problem after 3 months of use.

After update the front camera blurred and the hardware problem came up and the phone could not be turned on.The hardware problem was fixed at the nearest Mi Service Center and the front camera could not be fixed as it would cost Rs 10,000 to replace the board. The board has not been replaced and the hardware has been fixed I got home the phone's mic and speaker did not work and again the hardware problem started. Now the phone does not even turn on. Now that phone can be thrown to drop the mango

Miui 12.5.10 is the best. Period. I am also a custom rom user, used miui 13 and almost every custom rom. In case of miui, 12.5.10 is the best one.

Sad to hear this man! Earlier Xiaomi was giving good hardware for the price.. now quality has dropped very much, and they don't value Indian customers. Many of their quality models are not launched here.. There's no redmi k series after K20 pro but it's available outside. Many phones are having hardware issues, like the poco X2, X3 pro etc. Now redmi note 10 pro. Wtf is Xiaomi doing! Their QC is becoming shit! They should either replace faulty phones free of cost, or atleast less charges. Instead, they aren't even ready to acknowledge issues.. I think its time to move on from Xiaomi brand, unless they're willing to acknowledge their issues & improve quality of products.

Hey there i form Bangladesh I have some pretty important thing too talk We have 2 types of phone 1 official phone by brand 2. Imported form other country Redmi note 10 pro Indian Version got this problem of front camera, sounds, touch etc. The problem starts by updating or flashing time, there's no temperature locking so the processors gets heated and losses connection for mother board pcb. Well it is a hardware problem from cpu side, There's a solution it called cpu reballing costs 2000to 3000bdt. Literally mi sucks 😔

Most wasted phones from xiaomi started from note 10 man till note 7 was way good like best quality but from 8 it started shaking its base and now it's just the best example of China...and Chinese. Yeah the problem is just annoying my front camera started getting stuck and just black screen or just blur effect and sometimes tells me that the camera stopped working in the miui just after 3 to 4 weeks of buying even in the Instagram cameras and other social media application cameras also the camera is like stucks and is slow in photo doesn't it?? @@mabyrinth No, I haven't yet. Because I really have high hopes that my front cam will come back when they gonna released new update version because I really feel this is just really a bug. So, for now I bought second hand phone on a pawnshop for the main time while waiting for the new release update, and if is still not working maybe it's time for me to go to repair shop.

It's very hard to escape to escape xiaomi ecosystem, well because of custom ROM outside xiaomi ecosystem u cannot find any custom ROM and if u do it would increase chance of bricking device on Samsung theirs something similar to xiaomi firmware tool called Odin but i don't believe it's that good as xiaomi firmware tool. Realme devices could be a replacement for xiaomi but they first have to make their own firmware tool because without it it could brick device if anything happens and it's worse then hardware issue. Samsung devices have Odin instead it's similar to xiaomi firmware tool it's kinda same thing not exactly sure since i never used it, well Samsung used to be custom ROM legend all way until 2014 and since then xiaomi has been successor to custom ROM but if this keeps on happening something will happen time will tell.

This happed in famous landmark in Quiapo Manila, Philippines 3 hours ago.Thank goodness I followed my instinct. I saw a Redmi Note 10 Pro with all these bells and whistles. Everything was great until I noticed that the front and back camera were not working. Touching the shutter screen button doesn't work. I was hesistant to buy it. The vendor was only selling it at Php4000 pesos or US$71.88 only because of the camera issue. When I declined and was about to back off, he lowered it more to Php3000 or US$53.91 It was a tempting offer but I still declined because the camera is one of the key features of a smartphone. Otherwise, it's a blind phone. After going to the church, I decided to check back the guy because I thought maybe there's a way to fix that. I was steps away from the vendor and was thinking twice. To my final decision if I will buy it despite having issues with both cameras, I found him packing up his mobile phones. That was a sign. Good thing I listened to my instinct.
