Let's let a joke be a joke. If you all know metal, AT ALL, you got it right from the start. I laughed so hard the first time I watched this that I missed a lot. It took me at least three tries to get through this without tears in my eyes. As always, your skills speak for themselves. And others, they will try to speak for you. I'm loving that you're smiling about this the whole time. Doesn't matter what anybody else thinks... You just made yourself laugh! That's the best ! Every evening, i read the mail. I then insert it into this slot in a machine, and whisper scream " i still shred!!! "

Shadow of Intent, Animals as Leaders, Jason Richardson, Shokran, Capstan, Avenged Sevenfold, Berried Alive, Rings of Saturn, Cane Hill, just a few modern metal bands that are filled to the BRIM with solos ALL the time. Solos are not losing popularity, people just found out they can do other things that have a greater impact than solos all the time.

Ha! I saw the original song, was hilarious but also a genuinely wicked song. Also love seeing the pitchproof plugin popping up in stuff, I've been using it for years, though I actually crank it up to +12 and put in low in the mix, even for playing heavy riffs. It sounds awesome and makes sure you keep clarity of what you're playing, even with loads of distortion.

I like both you and Nik Nocturnal. I'm not a natural musician. My background is as a "hard rock" vocalist. But I've recently started learning to play bass to help with writing and I've been expanding my knowledge of music theory and tone to help when writing with other musicians and recording. I wanted to say thank you for creating your channel. Remember, some of the heaviest tracks EVER recorded have been in Standard tuning. Iron Maidan, Judas Priest, Ozzy, and the list goes on. Back then, just dropping your low E to a D was the lowest you ever went. Then guys like Dimebag went to C+ and the train was rolling. I personally don't give a shit about the actual tuning, it's what's done with it is what matters.
