Knott’s has been a friend to us. First ones to open the marketplace, first ones to do the taste of events, first ones to really help us out with season passes. When the world was shut down and everything was sad, Knott’s Berry Farm stood by us!

I agree, I live 5 minutes from Knott's and it was definitely a source of light for my family and I during the pandemic. I will be spending more time and money here than I would be spending at other nearby theme parks.

@@tflo25 Exactly! You are right. It really was a light during the dark days... I have been going every week and filming different parts of it, even Rufus in the parking lot. When everything else was shut down, Knott's won over my heart.

Such a great comment! Knotts has been there for us through the darkest time. We also have been going weekly to Knotts and Soak City. It has been bringing us so much joy. And it is super exciting seeing my almost 4 year old loving and appreciating it more and more.

Thanks for the video of knotts landing. I am in my 50’s and went there when I was a little girl while visiting family in early 70’s. I have home movies of all of us there including my grandfather standing under an arch that the goats would walk over... we caught the goats taking my grandfathers hat off his head and walking away with it to never be seen again 🤣

I remember in the 1950's when Knott' Berry Farm was free!! Parking and admittance. There were a few attractions that you paid for once inside, like, i believe the train ride, where there was always a shootout robbery. Sad Eye was there talking to everyone even then! i remember getting the best licorice pipes there!

We took a family vacation to Knott's Berry Farm back in the mid 60's. It has changed from what I remember. Dont remember seeing all those roller coasters!, if they were there back then.! I do remember the Marketplace with all the fruits and veggies.Still left a wondeful memory of times gone by!!

"Hey you! Sit down over there!" I used to remember hearing that recording at the top of the Log Ride just before the drop. Just raising your hands up would set off the recording if you could keep your arms close enough together. I don't know if it still does, but the Mine Ride used to have yarn hanging down from the ceiling in the dark areas. I think it was during a point where they would announce bats. It would brush over you, and give you a fright.

I LOVE the Log ride and the Train ride. Did not care for the additions they made with Camp snoopy and all the additions. It had an old west theme thruout the entire place before they went and added all the commercialized stuff. Is Medevial Times still across the street?

Enjoyed seeing this, Adam. Used to go to Knott's in the 70s and 80s. The smell of the steam train is very distinctive. Don't know if it's the railroad ties or what, but I could smell it after all these years. : -) Thank for letting me tag along.

Back in the day, I was told about Knott’s and it wasn’t anything like it is today. My first time there a few years ago, my parents told me about my grandma getting jelly & jam at Knott’s. I then saw “Cordy’s Corner” which was my other grandma’s nickname for me. Both clashed that day. I want to go back eventually! I call it a mini Cedar Point!

I remember going to Knotts Berry Farm in the late 1960’s with my parents! It was a gold mining and horse back riding place and they showed where they made candy and jams! Sometimes we went after Disneyland!

When I was a kid I thought Knott's Berry Farm was founded by Don Knotts. when I got older I found out it was founded by Walter Knott. I have always thought it was interesting how 2 men named Walter, Disney and Knott, started the 2 best known and loved theme parks near each other.

I asked Sad Eye Joe how his 2020 was? They let him out, but he saw a newspaper and said “I’m going back in.” I took my dad back in June for Father’s Day. He hadn’t been to knotts in over 30 years.

The drop really is that big, and although it’s hard to see in the video there are animatronics almost in every alcove or something else to see.

Knott’s is the place I remember having an annual pass back in the 90s and I also went to so many Knott’s Scary Farm Events when they shut the park down clear out the day guest and then let us nighttime folks in you know how it is has many time as you’ve gone but you know Knott’s really is such a wonderful place to enjoy yourself and the fact that there is so much history behind it makes it that much better and it really was fun hanging out with you also I love the Knott’s video from back in the day when you and Justin Scarred did a dueling vlog and I love at one point when you and Justin were singing the song from the movie What About Bob so with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you also please be safe out there also another vlog from back in the day was when you and Jay went from Knott’s and Disneyland back and forth riding the log rid and splash mountain

One of the things I miss about SoCal is Knott’s Berry Farm. I also miss Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood. The log ride and calico mine train are my favorite rides at KBF.

Aw darn my family and me went last month and we headed to the log ride and waited almost, nearly 3 hours because of temp shut down! after we headed to big foot rapids and that also shut down! me and my cousin only got to get on hat dance twice, jaguar, the boat that rocks, and log ride after rapids went down! it was pretty fun, i got the special 100th anni donkey squish mallow! glad you had a time :) !!

I've become a Knott's Season Passholder, since I can't get an AP for Disneyland. Definitely not the same vibe but its a fun way to spend a few hours. You can get a season pass for about the price of 1 day at Disneyland. Going to Soak City today.

So great to see you able to enjoy this park. In Sarnia Ontario Canada we cant eat in a restaurant, go to the movies, or cross the bridge to the US, and almost everything else, still today July 9th 2021

I lived in Buena Park for 40 years, I could walk to Knotts in 10 minutes. I definitely prefer it over other places and my wife works for that other park 🤫😁

Adam, That drop tower attraction is similar to the Maliboomer ride which use to reside on Paradise Pier at DCA before the Cars land expansion forced it to leave.

The last time I was in Knotts Berry Farm was 1985 I was 19 spent the summer with my aunt and uncle and cousins and their families, that was my second time at knotts I loved it.

I had to chuckle when you said a little more horrifying because the drop ride is exposed to the elements! What always amazed me is the fact that Knott's Berry farm is not a very big real estate plot but boy do they know how to pack in the everything really really great share and what a beautiful day in Southern California in Buena Park! Wow you're so close to la Mirada I need to go to California just to go to the Northwoods Inn! And did you see the viral Stater Brothers video they have an opera singer from The phantom of the Opera working in their produce department amazing I wish Stater Brothers was a national chain they are so dear to my heart way to go Stater Brothers way to go!

Funny when I was a kid, about 10 years old I didn't like the log ride because of the drop, now that I'm 55 years old, it doesn't bother me none. Plus I'm a Rollercoaster fan and just love to ride rollercoasters.
