Yeah bloom and mono geo are the teams I like to use. Head empty just press everything you can. Except geo doesn't deplete my HP and bloom hurts I'm praying Baizhu has enough heals and protection coz Kokomi is simple not enough especially that she's build as the hydro on field trigger

I can never get enough of seeing you treating Alhaitham like the king he is ❤ His team truly carried me this abyss too. Surprisingly, I prefered using him with zhongli instead of quickbloom in the first chamber because i kept getting interrupted by the consecrated beasts 😢 but he still performed magnificently well 🎉 I used quickbloom for the rest of the first half since i had to put yelan for The drake boss. 2nd half was taken care of by childe international .. chamber 1 was a painful experience for this team but the rest was doable.

Great revenge video Sevy, always like people showing off their favorite characters crushing the Abyss! I’m hoping to get Alhaitham (and maybe his weapon and a sneaky Kaveh) on his next rerun. As for my Abyss clearing experience, it was more the level of suffering as your 4* only run. This Abyss was somehow more of a pain than the last one for me. It took nearly 200 battles for the whole thing, but I was able to finally 36* today under my lil house rules with some good abyss cards. The short of it is Wanderer carried first half, the Diluc Chongyun melt team scored a 3*, and International died to the lightest breeze standing on Bennett’s healing burst even just trying to slow clear for full energy as always. Overall it was a pain in the arse and I have a headache, but it shouldn’t take me quite as long next time now that I know who I’m bringing to each chamber. I will say though that attempting to prefarm artifacts for Alhaitham came in clutch because I was able to bring Yaoyao to ASIMON with her brand new Deepwood set and she did quite well. For those who like to see the full details, here’s exactly who I brought and what I meant by “house rules”: Teams: 12-1-1: C6 Faruzan, C1R1 Wanderer, C1 Tenacity Zhongli, C6 Elegy Fischl 12-1-2: C3 Xiangling, C0R1 Childe, C3R1 Kazuha, C2 Bennett (became mono-pyro mid beasts because Childe died) 12-2-1: Same Wanderer comp as 12-1-1 12-2-2: C0 R1 Beacon Diluc, C6 R1 Beacon Chongyun, Kazuha, Bennett (AKA the team I actually got Kazuha for) 12-3-1 Aggravate Wanderer with C0 Yaoyao replacing Zhongli 12-3-2 Same flop International team that once again became mono-pyro when Childe decided to just fall over and die 2s after his 2nd burst (Can’t wait to eventually C4 Childe to use him as a quick bloom support so I don’t have to use this team anymore) House rules: -Using characters (Xingqiu) I really don’t like doesn’t count for a true 36*, there’s no sense of victory if it comes down to that -Attacking Abyss per chamber and leaving and resetting for full energy is allowed -All triple crowned characters (Chongyun, Diluc, Zhongli, Childe, Kazuha, & Wanderer as of now) must be present and achieve a 3* somewhere on floor 12 -Diluc and Chongyun are Batman and Robin and should be kept together as much as possible and brought wherever possible as the OG 3x crown mains -Characters who aren’t and will not be triple crowned must never be max ascended, 80/80 is as far as they go, transformative reactions be damned

Floor 12 was the strangest team I think I've used for the first half. I used Raiden, Zhongli, Itto, and Tighnari, which surprisingly was the easiest way for me to clear all of the stages quickly in the first half. Then just a freeze team with Shenhe, Kazuha, Kokomi, and Ayaka for the second half.

Very nice channel. I'm a F2P player and, while needing to see the one with the 4-star abyss, I want to highlight some teams I usually use. Note before start that every 5-star unit I use is C0 unless I say otherwise: My best dendro team: Zhongli - Xinqiu C6 -Fischl C6 - Nahida: Pretty straight-forward. Put da shield, do Xinqiu Q+E, Fischl E, Nahida Q+E, start atacking and see everything blowing away. The Geo beasts: Zhongli - Geo MC - Gorou C2 - Noelle C6: It doesn't reach the damage ceiling of a CX Itto, but damn, she strikes HARD.

Okay so I have 3 well built teams for abyss. Well, 2 but the 3rd randomly became my strongest abyss team after pulling nahida (no joke). My main teams are : Itto/Albedo/Gorou/Zhongli Ayaka/Shenhe/kazuha/Kokomi And the newer addition; Alhaitham/Nahida/Kuki/Xingqui i used my ayaka and my Alhaitham team to clear all the content, but I was left with 33 stars. This abyss feels a lot stronger than even last abyss, where I cleared 35 stars easily. I do want to say that I think it's cool that you showcased collei and that she works just fine for people who play/love her. Characters like these are usually so underappreciated, but you showed that they are still great. I myself am leveling Dori right now, and I plan to use her in abyss someday. We will see how far I will come :). I love Dori!

Thanks for the general tactics for each segment! I need this type of video as I am still trying to get the gear to do abyss after returning in the 3.1, 3.2 version time frame. Today was my second ever attempt at floor 12 (last time was back in version 3.4: I still don’t have any character “fully built”) and those consecrated beasts were an “interesting” welcome. I’m not taking the abyss too seriously given it is really going towards bait for people to whale rather than a test of knowledge of game mechanics. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into an exclusive whale bragging zone like what I see in pay to win MMORPGs, because that will start dividing the community.

A cool tip I found out you can do with Yelan on chamber 2 is once the aeonblight flies up, you can use Yelan's barbedwire on the drakes head and it will simultaneously hit both its wings and knock it down! Not sure if other characters with similar AoE charged attacks can make use of it but Yelan definitely can since I tried it myself and it worked

I have finally got 36 stars after soooo many attempts and team comps OMG ! And I never expected ayato to be my saving grace 😂 if anyone is interested my teams for 12-1 were : raiden + yelan + bennett + xiangling ayato + nahida + kuki + xingqiu C0 five star characters, skyward spine on xiangling as my only five star weapon. It was the most difficult abyss in such a long time, and I couldn't use Ayaka freeze on the second half because the ruin hunter kept flying up because of Kazuha...

Albeit frustrating at times, this Abyss felt much more satisfying to fully clear than a lot of the previous ones. I had to do several test runs of all the floor 12 chambers, clearing them at 3 stars separately before eventually managing to get a full completion with my usual teams of choice. I just wish the consecrated beasts had a bit less of a push effect on their attacks, as it's quite demoralizing when you do your best to time your dodges, but still get hit because the tail part of the model pushed you back in front of the mob. Good luck to everyone with their Abyss runs!

I also had to use prototype amber for sucrose just for healing my spread/aggravate team. I could have used Jean for the healing, but Sucrose's team buff was much more needed, so prototype amber it was. It's actually fun when you need to think through how to use your resources to complete a particular challenge. Not f2p friendly though.

Zhongli definitely makes the second half a lot easier. I used my Hu Tao team for the second half, and even though she's not very AoE focused it was still easier than it was with most of my other teams simply because of Zhongli.

Wanderer’s/Xiao’s team is quite good for 2nd half, also Kazuha/Xiangling’s mono pyro. For 1st half I mostly did it with Raiden’s quickbloom with Nahida, Yelan and Kuki.

Glad to see the king and queen of the standard banner (Tighnari and Keqing) get some spotlight here. Keqing aggravate with Fischl and Kazuha is one of my fav teams to run against triple kenki and other chambers where enemies just bumrush you. My Tighnari and Yae Miko team is quickly becoming my favorite single target team after having been reliant on Raiden national for about a year it's getting a bit old. (I did have to go back and redo chamber 1 with them to actually 3* it this time tho).

This previous abyss and this one are the first I've ever 36 starred, and I've been told that this is like, the worst time to start trying for 36 stars lol. With this one, I used a Alhaitham Nilou Xinqiu Yao Yao bloom team, and Tighnari Zhongli Raiden Nahida spread team. I 3 starred 12-2 and 12-3 first try, but had to go back and try the first one a couple times to make it happen. Eventually I did though! Keep persevering, everyone!

Another alternative you could do (if you dont have the current 5 star), my team consist of these on 5 star C0 (and this helps a lot especially for people who sucks at dodging): - First Half: Raiden, Bennett, Fischl, Xiangling (make sure to use favo on bennett and the catch on xiangling, if raiden uses the catch, use favo on xiangling, fischl can use stringless or any 5 star if you have). this team actually does things real fast - Second Half: Mono Geo which are Itto, Albedo, Gorou, Zhongli (VERY SITUATIONAL since i got stonethresher. use favo on zhongli and gorou. if favo pole used on first half, give favo sword on albedo, this to make sure itto is always ready for burst) i did this and i got full stars on the first and second floor without much dodging (the third chamber still only 2 stars since i forgot to use favo on second half which makes itto slow on his burst....)

Spiral Abyss is driving me insane... Bit of a rant but I need to get it out of my system tbh I play on ps4. Have for nearly two years now. I follow all of your guides and have built many 5 stars (Kazuha, Raiden, Xiao, Hu Tao, Ayato etc) the way I was told. Some even have their signature weapons. I have built the best supports in game (Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu etc) and I have taken the teams apparently best suited for every floor and I CANNOT FREAKING DO IT. I've built the exact teams used in tons of videos and don't even get close. Granted, artifact RNG is HELL, but my crit ratios are 1:2 and I can't do more without paying money. I read the guides on the different enemies and follow perfect rotations. The best I've ever managed to do is 7/9 stars on Floor 12. I genuinely can't figure out what I'm doing wrong except that I must be horrible at this game or ps4 is just too laggy and PC/mobile players have advantage??? Idk. I give up. 😭 😭 😭

1st half I used the similar team to yours, Nahida Xingqiu Yelan Kuki, I'm not comfortable without a healer🥲 2nd half I used my old favorite taser team Kokomi Fischl Beidou Kazuha, it worked reallly well because the electro charged do stun the small enemies for a bit and interrupt them, great aoe, dmg reduction and interruption resistance from Beidou is a blessing for those beasts and the 3 kenkis

Best team I've put together recently was Xingqiu, r5 sac greatsword Beidou, Nahida and Kuki. Works pretty well for those abyss halves that need both single target and aoE damage, plus Beidou + Xingqiu + Kuki offer a ton of survivability. When enemies are aggressive Beidou can double parry 90% of the time, which is super satisfying

Triple kenki was the easiest part about this abyss lol. I struggled so much trying different teams to 3 star 12-1 and then it went really easy after that. Enemies take so long in their dying animations and respawning on my potato phone 😢

My best and also comfort teams for floor 12: 1st half: Raiden Yelan Nahida Jean (Using a DPS Raiden, do not have good enough EM pieces and switching around is too cumbersome) 2nd half: Kazuha Xiangling Ayaka Bennett (Ayaka is built as a flex/melt cryo DPS, functions well in freeze, melt, mono cryo, whatever)

I think these spiral abyss runs are way more relatable. At least for someone, whos playing Genshin almost since its release, like me. Cause I would not use someone like Lisa over my 5 star. And if there is a 5 star character I don't have I just look for his best 4 star replacement or I play a different team.

What kind of build would you recommend for Kokomi on a Nilou team? Full EM maximizes bloom damage, but I hear that a HP/EM/Healing build on OHC set isn't far behind because you trade bloom damage for personal damage and bigger heals.

Depends on the team setup. If it is 3 hydro, 1 dendro, then Kokomi will probably not have ownership of the bloom. If it is 2 hydro, 2 dendro, then it is hard to tell. I would say HP/EM/Healing is fine. The real factor is how much HP you have stacked on your Nilou.

I think if she's the only healer the variation on OHC is nice for the reason that you stated. Speedrun showcases still prefer full EM (or close to it) but for casual run it's far more comfortable. With another healer like Yaoyao or Baizhu she can comfortably go full EM.

I Agree, full em on koko if u hve yaoyao on the team, if no yaoyao and u feel u still lack healing then do the hybrid Koko instead

Nilou Bloom with Barbara as healer was kinda adventurous against Kenki trio, sometimes it felt like the ice is over all of the arena. Similarly not having dendro against the robot in the first half also required slightly lengthier waking up. But they got the job done in the end. Surprisingly and unlike most previous Abyss cycles I managed to do all chambers of floor 12 with the same two teams, though I 3-starred chamber 1 last. Overall it was VERY frustrating at the start where I failed at least 10 times with different teams until I found something that worked for me.

Yeah, i thought i was good at dodging but i needed to retry 1st Chamber 7-8 times due to the Beasts killing my character. The rest of the Chambers feel easy to clear afterwards.

*Floor 12 was quite hard!* I love to hate these mobs! I ended up using *Eula Hyper-Fridge* (off-field Nahida, Yelan and EM Kuki with on-field Eula) on the 1st half and a quite fun *Intermeltional* (off-field Xiangling and Layla with Bennett and Kazuha quick-swapping) on the 2nd half: this was the combination that gave me the most breathing room to face-tank mobs, as *Eula* doesn't die easily and permanently has almost as much stagger resistance as an in-burst Raiden, and on the other side *Layla* kept Bennett and Kazuha from being one-shotted while also applying enough cryo for Kazuha to swirl around and make the Pyro core "go brrrrrr"; *Raiden International* and *Hyper Raiden* had me dying and resetting way too many times. As always, floor 11 and below were quite fun and fast - almost any proper team cleans it without many issues... I really want 'em to give us more floors sometime soon, as there are so many cool (and hair-pull inducing) enemy combinations available right now in the game, for them to try and cram all of the challenging ones on just 6 halfs!! If they give us a floor with the need of 3 teams things will get hectic, lewl~
