There is not the traditional cruise ship evening entertainment but in my experience plenty to do!

Hi Suzie - yes I filmed very early in the morning and late afternoon when people were on excursions or getting ready for dinner. :-) I didn't want to intrude on the privacy or any guests :-)

I think I would love cruising on one of these ships. I have been on 15 cruises but never one like this.

This was on my wish list, but now that I've seen how small the accommodations are I think I'll not do it. I really appreciate the review! Those tight sleeping quarters are definitely not for everyone.

Remember you are not in your room that much. Sleeping & getting ready to go out. That veranda would keep it from being stuffy and/or too small. Just a thought.

Hi J - the space on the Viking River longships is actually bigger than cabins on other cruise ships I've been on - but you can also get larger rooms and suites :-) I agree with Jen, you are hardly in the room with so much going on - but i do accept that cruising is not for everyone!

Every room Does Not have a balcony or veranda. There are rooms below that have rectangular port holes for viewing.

Hi this is a VERY late question. I don't mind crowds but from looking at so many of these viking videos There are a lot of people at dinner. Can you have dinner in your room? or is that extra.I don't mind crowds but at dinner or some of the other sit down times I prefer a more quieter atmosphere ( like my room).Thanks
