I had that kit in the 90's. I want to say I had it in 9th grade, can't quite remember. I remember back in the 90s everything was aliens. X-files was HUGE, bands like 311 played on the alien thing. Alien workshop skateboards were big. 👽 Head stickers etc etc etc. I built my kit in the 90's and loved it. Would LOVE to have another one.

I still have the original, first release, UFO model kit. I built it back in the late '90s. I already had a lot of experience with building and painting models, so I was able to make it come out looking pretty much perfect. Mine came with a tiny solder and I think it came with a tiny grey alien. Looking on the net, there are a bunch of other UFO model kits, but they all seem to only be available online. I'd love to get all of them.

Personally I like Area s4 one better. I think it came first and I am also a firm believer in Bob Lazar.

That's the original version that I have, too. I only paid about AU$50 at the time. It's crazy how much they go for now. I bet even a well made one would go for a fair bit, too.

Does the original come with a booklet which you didn't really show?

Yes I remember right they both came with instructions but the area S4 model came with more details about the Bob Lazar story.

The original one came with a several page glossy colour booklet with a bunch of details about Bob Lazar & his work at S4. I still have the original kit, that I build and the booklet. I'll probably never get rid of them.

Testors was selling these around 2004-2008 I doubt Bob got any profit from these.
