I'd honestly take a tiny, clean APA hotel room -- with tub, electric bidet, onsen, and other amenities -- over this room.

Hi Chris. Pretty nice room and I love the balcony. Great place to enjoy the view of the city and chill out. That sofa really is bad. It has to go. And no mini fridge for personal items is a no no for me. Too bad the lounge wasn't better that it was.Thanks for sharing and take care.

Thanks James! Yes. I think the balcony was the best part! This hotel has alot of promise.. they just need to get rid of the really worn stuff

Great review, Chris! Beautiful hotel for a fair price! Bummer that there is no mini fridge to put any leftovers. Other than that, the place was very nice! The hotel looks pretty nice overall although I agree that they need to do a better job with keeping the rooms clean. I never sit on the sofas anyway, but that did not look pleasant to sit on.

I'm not a fan of Mariott in the US. Overseas is a different story! In the US, Marriott is a hit/miss. We don't know what to expect. Some don't give upgrades to elite members, some charge for parking whole others give elites free parking, some have great lounges while others are crap. It's just not consistent. I did get Titanium on my road trip last week. The things we do for status.😂

You have no idea of the history of that hotel and the food scene it was a part of. It’s an institution and your shallow review is just that. Shallow.
