After listening to Time II (and just staring blankly into nothingness afterwards just like when I first heard Time I) I just had to listen to a few songs from the Legendary Early Demos. Not albums from start to finish, just picking songs based on their names. Man, I feel like a teenager again! It's midnight, I should be sleeping, but here I am on my computer discovering new kickass melodic death metal songs!! All these emotions I felt all those years ago, amplified by all the knowledge and experiences I have gained during those years. I feel like I have too much to say and I'm speechless at the same time

Man!! I used to watch all your content when The forest Seasons was announced. I was obsessed with Wintersun from the moment I decided to listen to Time I, just because I liked the cover of the album on a youtube video. From that point on, I've been a huge fan. I' forgot about this channel a few years ago but today I was listening to this song and suddenly remembered you and the cool videos you used to upload making really fun content and your own remixes. I really did not expect this sincere reaction, but I'm really happy that it was so deep of an experience for you. I think this song is beyond what words can describe, so no question how it hit you so hard, knowing what this band means to you.

All songs are soooo beautiful and well produced. It's amazing. One day my girlfriend cried because I cried to them. Any other bands havent done this Storm (pun intended) in me when I listen them so I guess it just simply tells who can really do and produce something really spectacular to us and who cannot. Don't feel ridiculous! You're not ridiculous, because being able to feel so much because of music is just something absolutely beautiful and the greatest compliment an artist can get! And it's beautiful to see others do so as well! I myself had goosebumps all the way through and also teared up a little. It was when I first heard Silver Leaves where I actually started to cry out loud like someone going through a breakup. (I'm not, I'm very much still together with my partner.) Didn't do anything afterwards but play my favorite game to process it. Didn't even make dinner and eat. I was just overwhelmed with emotions for the rest of the day. Even the next day, I wanted to do things, but ended up doing nothing because I listened to the album again and was yet again too emotional for the rest of the day. I thought of recording my reaction as well but in the end I thought I would think too much about the camera and what I had to say and was too worried it would take me out. So all I did was turn the lights of, lie down in bed with my headphones, have my eyes closed and just listen and let my brain visualize. I did end up taking a picture of me having very red and teary eyes and posted it in the Wintersun Fans Facebook group

Not worth twelve years of waiting. But still good. People are overreacting because it just came out, but all the sounds are relatively things that have all been done before by this band. Like yeah this is more wintersun, and that’s good. But was it twelve years worth of waiting good? This could have all been done in less than three for an album barely reaching the 50 minute mark. Why do I say that? Forest Seasons exists, and shows material can be created in a far shorter timeframe and still sound fantastic. It’s good. But was it really worth twelve years and all the hype? Not sure on that one. We’ll have to see after the honeymoon phase dies down. Better late than never!
@miharoskarАй бұрын
I respect the work they've put in this, but it sounds much too synthetic for my taste. No life, no emotions. Too much quasi audiophile high frequencies and bass, and huge dips in other parts of frequency spectrum. ...Music is so dead that it works good only as an unobtrusive background noise.
