I think your amber ring is real but you can do a quick test yourself. I got an amber ring in NYC and it was 30$ but I got it checked out at a jeweler shop and they confirmed it to be amber. Awesome collection! I love sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, rings, necklaces and bracelets, earrings and now I’m even getting into anklets! 🙈

Thank you for sharing! I'm a rose gold fiend but really want to add some black rings to my collection. My ring collection is small, mostly spinner rings from Amazon for anxious fidgeting and a few from fragrant jewels but I'm hoping one year for Christmas or birthday or anniversary to get an alexandrite ring not just because the stone is gorgeous but my husband's name is Alex so I could always have him with me with an alexandrite ring 🥰 As for other hobbies, I do acrylic pour paintings and resin. I haven't had the spoons to do either lately because a terrible job was sucking all my energy and creativity but I quit and now I'm slowly recovering my energy and creativity

Or multiple hobbies, (like polish, rings, bracelets) at a time? (personally, I hyperfocus on one thing for like a year, then get obsessed with something new lol)

@@lofiCicada Thanks! I've had jewelry as basically a lifelong hobby, with making jewelry basically 2 hobbies in 1. Since finding beads from 2nd hand jewelry is a hobby in itself LOL. Nail polish was something I really liked as a teen, but I didn't become an avid collector (or even discover indie polish) until I was an adult. At this point, nail polish has grown from a side hobby to my main hobby, with jewelry making taking a major backseat. At first that wasn't my intention (my jewelry supplies were packed up when we made our move from NV to WA 7 years ago) but I never really was able to unpack it all and make a creative space here. My hope it to get my craft room organized at some point (LOL, it's been how long I've been saying that??) and make room for me to create jewelry again. AND have room for my nail polish collection/film studio.

Yay!!! Love this video! Of course, my favorite is the second one you showed, the pink iridescent stone. It looks just like my promise ring my best friend gave me before he passed, complete with the scuff on the stone and band. I lost that ring shortly after he died, when I was working in a warehouse. The ring came from Avon about 16 years ago. The stone is called sunset topaz.. A note about shining up the "glass" or resin on some the stones, mostly the cabochon stones, maybe try an extra fine shine nail buffer?

Not a little emerald - unless dyed - and probably not glass. Have you tested it for chromium dioxide.
