I converted to Islam in December I'm still learning a lot....Well just yesterday I told my family and it wasn't really received with blessings that I would've given them nothing bad was said just not any joy in the conversation. I come from a strong Christian background so I'm not surprised by it..I'm asking to please keep me lifted up in prayer that Allah guides me and keep enlightening me and protecting me I'm feeling sorta alone I'm not surrounded by any other Muslims on a regular basis.

+iDropAll Pkers Here's the thing though, as a Muslim, I've looked into my religion as well as other major religions (christianity/judaism) at least brushed the surface of the basics. Christianity is very confusing and illogical with regards to the trinity, along with the fact that the bible has been corrupted (has pornography written in it) and finally the fact that majority of the christians don't even follow the teachings of the bible/what Jesus said, they blindly follow the church (they eat pork, don't cover their hair for women - it says in the bible that any women that doesn't cover her hair should have her head shaved). In Judaism, Jews don't accept Jesus as someone sent by God. Islam, clears up all the misconceptions with regards to Christianity and Judaism, and tells us how the Prophets sent earlier (Jesus/Moses) were sent for a particular time period and for a particular group of people, (Jesus was sent to guide the lost sheep of israel, meaning those Jews who went astray. Muhammad (pbuh) is the last prophet and no other prophets will be sent after him, thus it is clearly said in the Quran that he is sent as a mercy for the entire human kind, and not just for the Arabs.

We believe that those religions were sent by God (Allah in Arabic) however, since the bible and Torah were not meant to be the final revelation/book from God, Allah did not see it fit to be preserved, meaning those books were corrupted by man. People added stuff and removed stuff so it no longer is in it's pure form.

baabaa33 first off, a Christian can argue with a Muslim when it comes to the corruption of the books, and though you might not deny the religion you still believe Islam is the right one, and let's say, for the sake of the argument that you're right. How about Buddhism or Hinduism? Because as you know Judaism Christianity and Islam are quite close or at least have some common prophets. But how do you argue for that Buddhism is wrong or totally a led astray religion? Isn't it illogical to deny their religion when there's the same amount of proof for the both religions being the true one? In the end of the day, what determines which religion is the true one?
