Your daughter is pretty and I'm sure she's smart also, Jael.. My mom and I used to go to the thrift store several times a week and would try to arrive there early to get the best things. It's hard to find the good quality and designer clothes and accessories as before, since online sellers are getting the firt choice. Everything, including groceries, is more expensive since the pandemic. Onions are almost $2 per pound where I live. I learned a few things about shopping at your market.
@jaelofthevillage10 ай бұрын
Very true. Everything changed with the pandemic. I wonder if we'll ever get back where we were.
@TheDarkDresser10 ай бұрын
@@jaelofthevillage I don't think so, Jael. The world has changed in various ways and had been changing for decades, but the pace of this change is accellerating, especially since the pandemic. Violent juvenile crime, and lawlessness in general, is to a a greater extent than it was just a few decades ago; extreme weather in many places around the world, among other things. Some of the changes are contributing to an increase in migration for those who are desperate enough to risk their lives to escape them. 🙂 your channel is a respite from some of that.

There’s scarcity of onions in Uganda too, they are soo expensive now. We also have “nyongeza” for the extra item they give when you’ve bought many. This could easily be a Ugandan market
