On this video I do a little talking about Distributors and starters and placing a Ground wire on my RV, I am still doing mechanics and toward September I plan on some short road trips.

Hi Mike, its your uk fan here... Im old school too, and I remember a good reason why a good ground is important. In my case the engine ground failed and the accelerator cable and the choke cable became the ground and of course they failed, it fused the bowden cable and melted the surrounding wires. I really enjoy your videos Mike, stay safe, all the best from the uk

Thanks Elbert, I agree I always run extra wires for the ground and all my cars, because I know sooner or later especially with the new cars it’s going to be a problem, nothing like a simple carburetor and a distributor, I still drive my old truck around same way, never have to take it to mechanic you’re right best from USA Thanks Mike

Taking the narrows up through the newton ransom huh? One of the nicest drives in the area. Then going to Dalton to visit Mr. E? Man its a small world. Im friends of friends and been up their house a few times. Those folks have a real nice RV stable setup.

Another winner. Now, if you have an old school method to replace the rear main seal on my '04 Caddy, I'd be forever in your debt. LOL.

Nice job Mike sounds good as a mechanic myself I kinda have an ear for sounds on a vehicle I couldn't help but notice a little high pitch sound when you started it up chevy had a shim that set the starter drive away from the fly wheel a bit jus wanted to share that with you. Please I am not trying to be sarcastic in any way you probably forgot more than I will ever know or learn just sharing some knowledge with a fellow gear head or Grease Monkey since Alabama is where I moved to Maryland from lol. Keep your videos coming I will keep learning.

Thanks Mc Griggs, I have to listen for that, I changed the starter so it very well could be, I am not the best mechanic, still learning, I really appreciate it. thanks mike
