You introduced me to saddle hunting via your podcast... took me 6 months to pull the trigger on a phantom. Shot my first buck out of the saddle in November. Being mobile is a huge benefit and the saddle has made that much easier for me. That’s a good idea hanging your sticks from your haulers. Thanks!

Good video. You explain things well. Think I’m switching to a saddle. If your adrenaline hits, and your shaking like a leaf, trying to shoot a huge buck, it’s gotta be better than being in a stand. I almost shook the tree down the other day 😂. Spooked a deer that way…. Gotta find a way to not spook deer. Saddle is the only way.

I have heard the issues with the rope man and the 8mm is when it has some age on it is when it starts to slip some. With that said I don’t actually know this is just what I have heard. My next question is are you a firefighter, police officer or active duty in the military and I only ask because of the stash.

Good video Beau. I have heard you on podcasts and seen you on the Untamed channel. My set up is similar, but different. I highly recommend installing kydex clips on both bow ups and quiver to hang on your gear strap. I believe Greg from Tethrd has a video on how to make them. I started off with the hero clip too, but found the kydex much nicer. Are you running any type of climbing aider or just the 4 sticks straight up? Just curious what your average hunting height is? Last year I ran three mini sticks and moveable one step aider, typical hunting height for that set up was 15 ft up. Seemed to work good most of the time.

I can put everything I need to climb a tree and hunt into a tiny little bag that hardly weighs a thing. It is that other gazillion pounds of extra crap that weighs me down. I gave up on efficiency long ago...
