I can’t remember which way to turn the knob, but i think if you turn that switch (4:03) all the way to the right it turns on your dome lights. If you turn it to the left, it turns off your dome lights and dims your cluster and other lights.

Good look not used to that! I found out my driver door switch was the culprit. No more dome lights on when doors are closed.

WJ grand cherokee overland steering wheel is a great upgrade in a XJ just gotta get one from the same year as your XJ. if youre removing the cluster, just replace it with a used cluster with a tach from another 97-01 XJ, its plug and play, but the milage stays with the cluster. those door checks are only 20$ for 4 new ones on Ebay. the rockers look rust free, if the floors are rust free its definately worth fixing, prices on these things are getting ridiculous. im subbed for the XJ content👍
