I totally understand. Before moving to the US my saree collection was in triple digits. In Punjabis a lot of sarees are given from the Parents side and also from the in laws side. I was never a saree person and more of a salwar kameez person. Gradually I sorted out my sarees and the really heavy and gorgeous ones I kept but many other sarees I got stitched into Salwar Kameez. I love Pochampally sarees a lot and also Madras silk , Banarsi , kachivaram , aurangabadi etc. It was a dream of mine to have a saree from every State of India , and now I think I have reached that goal. You have a lovely collection , enjoy wearing each and every one of them.One of these days I will show my collection , I have to admit , I like looking at sarees more than wearing them. I am never very comfortable in them.

Loved the first black brocade one and the pink Tussar Silk one. The saree which you said changes color is called Dhoop Chaon. Take care of your sarees because one day when I checked my old silk sarees they just started tearing like tissue paper.

Beautiful collection of sarees. Traditional Assam and Bengal sarees are so pretty. I really like that saree your husband gave you, luxurious! I only have Kanjeevaram, Banaras, Mysore silk, one Paithani, few Chiffon and few cotton Bengali sarees. I have stopped buying sarees now, going waste here. Next time I go to India, half of them will go to mom, she wears saree everyday. Tornado with large hail keeps coming to Texas, that's why we are all having cloudy and rainy days in the East. We don't mind rain, we need it but don't need hailstorm! Both of our Jeeps stay outside the garage on the driveway, only one car is inside garage. So Hail causes lot of damage. Have a good Wednesday :)
