He ran behind our jeep for a considerable distance. That elephant was called "Thaniya" means loner and they're know as the most aggressive ones in national parks. Thanks for visiting SL. Elephants in Udawalawa Park are kind of unpredictable if they are in a group. Many safari crews have got attacked in the past. But it's all a part of the fun and excitement. You must always get hold of an experienced driver. They can make a major difference in your tour. Nice vlogging 👍
@nalin81822 жыл бұрын
Nice vlogging. Though elephants charge towards the vehicle they hardly attack. But definitely we human get scared. Sometimes they chase behind moving jeeps .the moment jeep stops elephants do stop .its unbelievable to see how they can stop the chase with speeed so quickly . Udawalawe national park has 600 plus wild elephants. There are many things to explore in this small island paradise. 26 national parks, 126 water falls. Botanical gardens, ancient temples and ruins more than 2000 years old. Sinharaja tropical rain forest, Horton plains. Beautiful sceneries with mountains, blue Wales and dolphin s many more Have a safe and wonderful stay. Love from Srilanka

By the way, it is always better be safe than sorry with these pachyderm as they are unpredictable at times and could attack you at the drop of a hat... Glad you gotta away from them swiftly and immediately without facing any troubles or mishaps.. 🙏🙏❤️😘 Kudos to your bravery and thanks for the lovely pachyderm tour... Dear.. Have a safe stay n god bless ya dear.. Hugs.xoxoxo "Gams" ❤️😘🐘

It is definitely one of the scariest moments in your life that you don't want to see. A few weeks ago I saw a video of an elephant running after a tuk tuk in Arugambe. I said in that video that sometimes it happens for several reasons. Elephants are usually peaceful animals. Females may, however, be aggressive when young calves are present and bulls can be exceptionally aggressive during musth. All elephants may become aggressive when sick, injured or harassed. Also, I mention in that video that this kind of incident rarely happens in the National Park... Here it is after a few weeks... it happens in the national park... Thank god Rachelle.. you are safe.. It was quite an adventurous safari...

When an elephant is going to charge or unrest could be noted from its tail position. Normally it should hung vertically and tends to wag both ways very gently. When the animal is aggressive you could witness properly. Be mindful in next time.
