One of the things on my mind when you got off of DNA was that any time it triggered, not only was it putting more red seal kings in the deck, it was putting two in your hand for your Baron. Not that anyone will see or care since this video is old, but infinity was probably hit while counting card 146 in hand. There's four triggers per king and 2 retriggers, all done 178 times. That's ((1.5^4)^3)^178. The full number, if Balatro went above 1.79e308, would be 1.35e376 (not counting the polychromes or steel/hologram). Changing 178 to 146 gives just over what Balatro considers infinity; 3e308.

Yeah only way to use ankh later in runs feasibly is with eternal jokers in the mix then ankh can become really, really broken if all your jokers are eternal since with perkeo copying ankh this way you are actually just going to break the game I would wager since you can ankh multiple times per round and end up with hundreds of jokers since what you would do since legendary jokers can't be eternal AFAIK you'll stack a ton of ankh's to eventually copy eternal DNA and/or baron's and such. Then you could get naneif multiple hands until the ante limit is reached.

This is a pretty niche maths tip that not many players are going to have to make use of - but at 1:20:20 when you had 6.6e36 and you needed 9.2e36, you can cancel out the e numbers so you had 6.6/9.2 score and you didn't need to create any more cards in your hand - one more play of the same hand would have got you to (roughly) double which would be approx. 13.2e37

With baron mime you want to ideally have an equal number of barons and mimes or if you cant have an extra baron: Say you have 5 joker slots being used for baron/mimes: 3 barons and 2 mimes is the most optimal as you can't equalize, Note 3B 2M > 2B 2M > 1B 3M or 3B 1M

I love all the comments saying that the math is killing the cpu.... This math is absolute cake for any modern CPU. Hell, 1000 Kings cards with this setup gives you a final mult of 2.37e+2114 (without the final mult), taking 0.0040 seconds to calculate. Edit: 100,000 Kings gets you to 6.16e+211310 and takes .36 seconds

I'm not too sure what you mean but there's not really anything like the isaac item pools in the game, if you want a detailed explanation on how the shop and pack rng works check the channel "balatro university", specifically the "banan-e-inf" video uploaded recently, he explains it quite well, I'll try to summarize it in another reply since it's quite a long video and I don't remember exactly the timestamp for the explanations (though they are quite early, that much I know) but I'll be going by memory so it might not be entirely correct

Yes and no? Certain Jokers can only appear under specific circumstances (enhancement-based ones like Lucky Cat, Steel Joker, and Glass Joker can't appear if there are none in the deck, Cavendish can't appear until Gros Michel breaks), Jokers can't repeat without Showman, and consumables can't appear anywhere if it already exists in your inventory. But there is no "Boss Blind pool" or some such - every shop has equal weight.
