You sure have a knack for combining all these different ship parts and molding them into a completely new coherent shape. Your stuff looks more interesting than most of the new vehicles Disney came up with. :)

Great work and I like the wings and tail fins that add extra visual interest to that gorgeous chunky space freighter design. :)

I think that Marauder might just be the best looking hunk of junk I have ever seen, adding the U Wing part to the bottom just made it. It's definitely a Chimera, a fabulous mix of the Star Wars and Aliens universes, and it just looks legit, sterling work sir. The Pillar also looks like a dreadnought from the Aliens Universe, that front end is so Sulaco like. I very much like the Universe of Adam Dryer 👍

Amazing work, Adam, and you've excelled at giving your Chimera Marauder starship a well-weathered lived-in look. I can practically hear the roar of its engines (even though there's no sound in space in reality, but that's not fun compared to the sound effects heard in 'Star Wars'). :)

I can see the front and rear cockpit sections from Dash Rendar's Outrider as the Chimera Marauder cockpit.

Being building my own ships/fighters albeit on a much smaller scale and using mostly card & foamboard. I do find landing gear is the hardest bit to figure out. Also how the pilots get in and out.

I would love some pointers for starting a scratch build. Do you ship extra pieces or parts to people?
@adamdryer471316 күн бұрын
Just start collecting interesting stuff, bits of junk, broken toys , anything that looks detailed and interesting and use your imagination to combine bits together to create a new interesting shape. The model will begin to take form

Your ships looks awesome, great work. Do you ever consider installing a lighting system in your models?

Your ships are beautiful, but need to remember that too much details can ruin the subject. Use the KISS system. Keep It Simple Silly.
