@@brankoderrichter4776 I'm not actually sure that the case anymore. Trump has been pretty transparent about his thoughts towards the game and has slowed down uploads when he isnt enjoying the game. Plus he has invested his streaming and yt money to the point that I dont think hes reliant on making videos anymore. I think that Trump still does genuinely enjoy the game still, even after all these years.

​@@Begeru tbh I think, at least compared to other Hs formats, Arena is really hard to balance as it shares its card pool with Standard and partly Wild, which makes any changes to these formats influence Arena, and vice versa. Plus, unlike formats like Battlegrounds or Duels, it lacks any unique hero powers or cards (excluding the Caverns of Time, but that's only for an event), nerfs or buffs to which could change sth in Arena. The best they can do is what they are doing now - changing the pool of sets from time to time and altering the chances of getting the best cards for some classes. Anything further would require bigger innovations, and I don't really have any ideas for those.

The problem I have with this is that it gives a false idea of how arena looks. I just drafted Death Knight, and got offered ZERO class cards (ok, i was offered 2 green ones, but they were terrible). The rest of my deck was mediocre or worse. So that was an auto retire. Next draft, I was offered Paladin, and got another garbage deck. Two Great Halls, yea, but everything else was again, mediocre of worse. No strong discovers, no bridges, no good mechs. I get that watching these kinds of arena runs might be less exciting, but have Trump (or whoever) at least acknowledge this "hey guys, this is my 5th run, last 3 were terrible and not worth seeing". But why not? I think I would definitely enjoy seeing Trump draft a bad deck and get destroyed, so that people watching can see that it happens to everyone. If everyone only plays good decks, then Arena just becomes a matter of "draft insane deck or auto retire, which nobody wants. The best case I can see is just to equalize the quality of these drafts, so that every (or least least most) deck is worth playing. Playing Arena with a mediocre deck is just painful.

@The Fuzzician it's obvious that any content creator is only posting highlights, so that's just a given for anyone you're watching. Nobody wants to see a run where they get bodied, people watch content creators generally because the creator is better than them and they get the experience of winning through them. Winning is fun, losing isn't, so people have more fun watching them win.

I think it's the naga legendary that shifts on spells: you see it shift on cold case 12:40 (frost) and then later on shooting stars 13:00 (to arcane). I don't think this is intended, but who knows.

It's insane to me how they printed a card like Devouring Ectoplasm and it saw zero constructed play.

Really? Why is that? Constructed is all about combo decks and deck-wide ideas and there's not really any of those that Devouring Ectoplasm would fit into. It's not that high power level on it's own, even in Arena. Most 3 mana cards will kill both it and the Adventurer unless the Adventurer gets Divine Shield basically.

Trump totally threw that last game against Priest. Not only was it obvious they were digging for an answer, but heals (especially large heals) while Cariel are debilitating to deal with since they're effectively healing for double. An earlier Alexstrasza could have caused the opponent to give up- by saving it for the last minute you gave them a fighting chance by letting them believe they had a chance.
