Forget all the comments hating about the drive and everything like that, people can just fast forward. I love that oleo Acres store, it's where I got my forge supplies and things I needed to get started. Congrats on the upgrade :)

Congratulations on the new anvil I bet it feels like Christmas already. I purchased a forge just like yours. You seem to have about the only video out on the Hell's Forge 2 burner model. Thanks for the videos.

bigokie50 thanks. I have noticed a lack of info on the forge too, which is a shame because it’s a good forge. I’m putting a stand together for the anvil and can’t wait to use it for the first time!

I love my 2 burner Hell's-forge, I couldn't find much info but took the gamble and I am very pleased. I have already used it to forge weld! The only issue I have ran into has been large and odd shaped objects obviously will not fit into the forge. For a beginner or someone focusing on knives or other smaller items unless you have the knowledge to safely build your own the Hell's-forge is a great option cost and quality wise.

Not sure what the first part of that video was. Also, no bounce test?

Dose the cashier know the anvil rebound is not very important because you're not hammering directly on the anvil your Camry with a piece of hot metal between you and hit metal takes most of the blow so the rebound doesn't really matter it's only a test to see if it has a hardened steel plate a wrought iron on the top

I actually have a Big Face anvil. For 7 years I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it. Since I'm not a farrier.

Hey Roy. Thanks for the comment. All of this is part of the learning process. Some things teach what we should do and others teach us what not to do.

The video was titled "my second anvil" didn't say it was a review or an educational video. Was just about him getting a new anvil. So no reason to tare into the guy. I found it rather entertaining.
