Not just any highs or lows. HTF sth/stl inside or close to a fvg are high probability setups. HTF ith/itl inside or close to a fvg are even higher probability setups. 1) Price hits a HTF sth/stl/ith/itl inside a fvg. 2) Drop down to a intermediate or low timeframe and look for a CISD or better yet unicorn model ( fvg nested inside a brk). No MSS needed. But you can wait for one if your conservative. 3) Target opposing liquidity. * Time as always is important and SMT divergence is a cheat code. This is where you will get your highest probability 🐢 🍲 setups. Enjoy !!!😊

Inducement is a type of liquidity

Inducement is a tactic that Smart Money can “afford” to use, in order to make “dumb money” think that something is going to happen (price is going up… price is going to collapse… etc), By doing so, inexperienced retail traders and breakout traders place a trade - either a Limit Order, or a direct Market order, or a Stop order (for breakouts). Whichever it is, a pool of orders build up and they’re ALL the same type. This is a pool of liquidity. Example; Smart Money (institutions and banks using algorithms, create the apparent price action that suggests a double top pattern is forming. This is inducement. Retail traders have been taught to go short off a double top. So they place a sell Limit Order in anticipation of it forming. This is inducement. There are millions of retail traders. There are many large traders who also trade these patterns. Done right, a pool of orders accrue above this double top that’s forming. All the orders are Sell orders - people are expecting to make money by selling at the double top, yes?. So what does Smart Money do? it pushes price up, collecting ALL those sell orders (which was what Retail wanted - they’re selling at a premium - but rather than taking price down, they pump it up, and lol the people who are responsibly using stop losses get taken out. Stop losses are … Buy orders. The opposite of what everyone originally placed. So now, Smart Money have just picked up a “pool” of available orders at a Premium price, which (guess what) they can now SELL at a premium price. Exactly what Retail had originally hoped to do. They’re out of the move. Smart Money is in the move. Smart money has induced Retail to “give them” all their positions. Rinse and repeat.
