Try magic erasers they work great to clean glass zero scratches as well

I use a glass cleaning tool on my 14 gal nano that’s made from the same material as magic eraser! For the 125 gal it’s far more efficient to use a magnetic scraper though because it only takes me 5-10 min and I don’t have to get my arms wet

With ur skimmer why not just let it drain into a milk jug under or behind the stand. That’s what I do and only have to empty it every couple months. Also the little tool that comes with the ai prime is used to pop that screen out then you can just take it to the sink. Once removed you can get inside better to blow the dust off the fan too!

My stand is packed full of things both in and around it so I resort to this, plus I’m OCD about it the skimmate smell as it builds up so I guess it’s a blessing in disguise that it forces me to clean the collection cup more often. I do a deeper clean of the lighting every few months, but for for weekly maintenance I just wipe it and dust it. Thanks for watching the vid!

@@SaltwaterTherapyTV I use a sealed tupperwear collection container with a tube on the top that runs back to the skimmer air intake. No smell and keeps the tank evaporation way down. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaGumpqJhJ6miJo

Lovely tank but the loud water splashing 24/7 would dive me insane 😂

For some reason it sounds like that on video but it’s barely audible in person. Water splashing sound was a major concern of mine and I actually had to redesign the plumbing initially to fix it. Edit: Just realized you’re talking about the beginning of the video. Later in the video you’ll see its different because it’s only loud when I’m cleaning the filter socks!
