There is a lot to it for sure! It's been a fun challenge figuring out how to take what I learned building them by hand and adapt it to the CNC. Hopefully the next installment in the series will be out before Thanksgiving. (Got some other cool projects between now and then to mix it up 😃) Cheers!

you should see it without a CNC...this replaces soooo many specialized jigs, tools and steps

I appreciate your video and need some help! When cutting the truss rod slot, how is the truss rod kept from moving forward? Thank you! B

Thanks! The truss rod should be a snug fit, enough so that just a little pressure is required to seat it in place. Other than that, there's nothing holding it in place. 👍👍 Hope that helps! Happy to chat if you have other questions.

@@WoodshopMike Thank you, I cut a truss rod channel with a 1/4" bit and it would still move. I will look for one that is smaller, maybe that was the problem? Thank you, B

Your welcome! One thing you can do is wrap the "blocks" of the truss rod where the two rods are welded or threaded in with a bit of electrical tape. You can also use a bit of heat shrink on it to tighten it up. That's assuming there's not too much play in the slot.
