I read a study that giving yourself one day of a "rest" day is good for our health. And everybody defines "rest" differently, and that's okay. Do what makes you feel at ease and get rid of that stress and pressures for a bit. I hope everyone has been having a lovely week.

This was the perfect day for me to see this. I’ve been going through a nasty divorce, and I’m really drained emotionally, mentally and even physically. I really need those days of slow routine in order to keep the rest of my mental health intact. Thank you for making me feel like it’s OK to rest and take time for myself.

When I go through things like that, I pamper myself.I will do girly pampering, soak in a warm tub lots of things just for me. You deserve it, We all deserve to take very good care of our physical and emotional and mental well being when going through those very very rough times in our lives. God Bless.

How do you always know what type of content will be quite relatable for your viewers??? Just how? Magic 😅 I've been struggling with mental health and anxiety more often than at any point in my life and its been really hard (especially when you have to wait 2 months for a psychiatric appt cause you can't afford private therapy... National healthcare is an illusion). So I really appreciate your videos. They have a very soothing feeling to them and help me take a breath and calm down even when I am incapable of following your footsteps and applying thise things to my own routine. Thank you ❤

Father, please watch over Rachel. Assist her in overcoming any challenges or obstacles that are keeping her far from you. Give her strength and courage, and most of all - let her know that you are right there holding her hand. Please guide Rachel to find godly women in her life that can support her as well as a Bible believing Church as we were not meant to go through life alone. I ask all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I have a toddler so some days can feel like a lot. Today I decided my day off was going to be relaxing. I took my kid to the park to get energy out. We bought some smoothies and lunch so I could take it easy and not cook. Then we came back I let him watch a little tv while I read. We later did a puzzle. I needed this day.I now feel ready to tackle a long work day tomorrow.

This was great timing. I’m three weeks post partum with my third baby and I felt great initially after having him. The first week I had tons of energy and felt nothing but joyful and excited then last week I felt sickly and my pp bleeding significantly increased. Went back to labor and delivery to find out I had hemorrhaging from retained placenta and needed a procedure immediately , now I have an infection and just feel so unwell and depressed. I know it’s not permanent but I have no energy to even make the bed or make food which is not like myself. It’s really important to remind ourselves not every day or “season” has to be our most productive sometimes just showering or paying a couple bills is what the day consists of.

Hi Rachel, I was so happy to see you posted a video. I think it's a rare person who doesn't have low energy days or times when we just need to unplug or quiet our minds. There have times in my life when I have felt the weight of the world on my shoulders. My husband and I were responsible for seeing to the care of elderly parents for many years till they eventually passed away. My mother-in-law was 106 and boy, she tended not to make things easy and my mom was 91 and the complete opposite, but stubborn. Between them and my job as an ICU nurse, stress was a constant in my life. There would be phases when I could handle everything coming at me and other's when I felt like I didn't have the energy to anything. It wasn't till after the parents had passed and I retired after 44 yrs. as a nurse, that I really realized just how much I was running on high cortisol stress levels. Now, I finally have the time to take better care of my own physical and mental health. I'm glad your taking the time to focus on your own needs and that my friend is not selfish, but essential for you and your family. Hope the boys are liking their teacher's and school.

Always love your videos Rachel. You've mentioned low energy quite a lot, just wondering if you have had your ferritin levels checked as I know you are quite plant based? Women very often have low ferritin (even if there haemoglobin is completely normal and they are not technically anaemic). Low ferritin is iron deficiency independent of anaemia and something I have had (even though I am not plant based but due to heavy periods). It certain leaves you feeling exhausted. Ferritin in a menstruating woman should be over 80 ng/ml FYI. The reference range for ferritin is too wide and low. Low Ferritin can also cause hair loss (something I notice immediately when it is getting low).

I'm not plant based anymore because I didn't feel my best while I was. I will look into this. Thank you for sharing.

I recently got a prescription for Adderall, and I've taken it a few times. It did help in a lot of ways, and also gave me some insight and confirmation that I am in fact ADHD.. I don't take it everyday though. It has some side effects I'm not a fan of. I try to stick with more natural options, and only use when needed.

Two mid roll ads immediately after the sponsorship in video ad? It’s two minutes in and you have said NOTHING engaging or useful. Not a great way to keep an audience. I’m out for very bad formatting alone. You are unlikely to have good ideas for low energy if you spend others low energy that way.

Aww. Yeh, that is annoying. I don't control the timing of when ads play from the KZbin side, but yeh, I'm sorry that happened this time. I could see how that would be really annoying. Sending love.
