What do you think of the Machine 2 Mini as an allround spring touring ski? We ski slowly, so not worried about stability at speed, but still, sometimes you build some speed in the turn, and hit bad snow. Also, with the minimal camber, how do you find them skinning up and skiing down very hard, icy snow? Again, this would be at slow speed, not looking to charge, just looking for control and reliability.

Hi! It´s very specifik mod, to be able to easily build an rescue sled if necessery!

I do that too to all my touring skis. It started with K2, they come with the holes in the tip, and they used to sell a shovel that comes with bolts to build a sled. I never got the shovel, just bought my own wing-bolts and wingnuts (stainless steel!), and drilled holes in all my families skis and shovel shafts. Easy to do. Just make sure to seal the holes in the skis with epoxy, to keep water out.
