I really like your blazer plans. The floaty fabric as blouses to go under the pinafore would be lovely. I'm in the US and I just subscribed.

For your McCalls peasant top...you will need to do a FBA (full bust adjustment) and then rotate the dart out so it is just part of your gathers. Lots of help for that on KZbin videos! Also, Cashmerette has sew-a-long tutorial on their website if you come across any tricky bits.

It does need an FBA but dont know how yo go about it on that pattern piece. There is no darts just gathers I think

What about Helen’s Closet Gilbert shirt for your cotton lawn, it would look really pretty

Sewing Bunny is doing a McCalls sew along this month. I'm currentlymaking the Lykke blouse, which is similar to the Whisper blouse that might also be good options.

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't heard of either of these blouses but I just checked them out and I think they would both work lovely. As they are floaty blouses I could just cheat and wear a vest underneath rather than interline the fabric.

Why don't you take apart your current joggers and use them as a pattern? I have never sewn with tencel. Didn't realize it was stretchy. Thanks! Measure the difference between the other sizes and increase by that amount for each size you need to go up. You'll need a full bust adjustment, too. There are several videos on KZbin.

My tencel is because it's a ponte roma. I dont think all tencel is stretchy. Thabk you, I will use that idea and test it out
