Metropole Orkest: 75 Years in Perspective - Its Past, its Present, its Future
5th Decade (1986 - 1995)
Ernestine Anderson who passed away in 2016 at age 87, was an American jazz and blues singer. In more than 60 years, she recorded over 30 albums and was nominated four times for a Grammy Award. In the 1990s she joined Qwest Records, the label founded by fellow Garfield High School graduate Quincy Jones.
